It is a drop-down box, you can not type anything. Refer to :http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/step-by-step.asp

Language preference

From the list, select your preferred language for:

  1. correspondence
  2. interview (if you select English or French, an interpreter will not be required), and
Note: If your native language does not appear in this list, select “other”.
  3. interpreter requested (necessary if English or French is not selected for the interview).

Hello
My AOR - 22nd june
Medical pass - 23 July
Documents status changed from -- being reviewed - documents recieved (which i never sent additional documents - documents uploaded --- to "additional documents not needed on 1st september.

Filed transferred to NDVO - sept 1st
BG status - BG check not started yet.

Can someone tell me which stage I am at?

Just got off the call with CIC with a total time including the wait and conversation of nearly 30 mins. A very friendly agent provided updates on the case that security and eligibility clearance have been complete and passed. He also said that "as of now there is no action required from my side" and all I must do is "wait for further instructions". However, he did not give any time-line and just emphasized on wait.

So does this indicate the golden email in near future?? have been waiting for over 80 days now. Patience running thin.

Also was informed that visa office is Ottawa.

What was the number you had called?

AOR: June 10,
Medical Passed: July 8,
BGC: IP1 July 9,
BGC: N/A July 11.

Still no updates. I'm totally okay with that though. Totally.

Thank you.

I had gone through an agent so I don't know how else to get frequent updates other than to mail them and wait for a response, which can be quite cumbersome.

Try reaching them at 001-613944-4000 and choose option 1,1 ,1 and it will route it to Canada Immigration IVR. From there choose information on Express Entry and then press the option for agent
