Exactly, you cannot date COPR forms. You have to leave date section empty, cos they will date it.

What I mean is, if you log in into your CIC account, there is a section linking existing applications, you can select "permanent resident card" application so that you can see what is going on with your PR card application.

it takes 2 months to receive PR card, and you are a permanent resident of Canada on the day COPR is signed. IN REALITY, your signed COPR is a proof of your status in Canada.
