Thanks for reply. So basically this affidavit will be signed by someone who is not part of that organisation. Is my understanding correct??
Or you mean from same organisation - some close friend , so that he can vouch for my case if an investigation is set up by immigration officer?? Is this what u meant??
Let me know please.
You are right. If you have any senior colleague, request them to sign an affidavit.
Basically, the peer should be working/worked with you during the mentioned tenure.

Hmm this also applies to me, so now I'm wondering the same. Like a typical American, I have a first name, middle name, and last name. In the US, it's common for people to write first name middle initial (instead of middle name spelled out) last name on many official documents. So most of my records have my first name followed by middle initial followed by last name. My passport is one of my few documents that has my middle name spelled out. Do I also need to write an affidavit about this?
A letter of explanation may do,an affidavit will be good and a notarised affidavit even better.
In India, the attorneys have a standard format for the same called 'One and the same affidavit/certificate' something as below ,

I, John Louis Smith, holder of Indian passport no. and resident of (address),hereby declare and affirm that my name is John Louis Smith as rightly written in my passport and that i am also known by names J.L Smith as given in my drivers licence and John.L.Smith as given in my work permit.
I affirm that John Louis Smith ,J.L.Smith and John L Smith are one and the same person.

Get the same notarised by notary public :)
this is how it is done here...

The problem is CIC could not verify the documents that the EE candidates input. So I think there are amount of unverified candidates around 5-10% each round ~ 300-400 applicants. This issue leading to the false variant of the CRS each round up to 2->5 points. For example the last #70 draw the real CRS could be 430 instead of 434.

To back up this argument please see the decline rates from EE ~ 40%.

Also, personally I think this is a loophole and need to be addressed since it'll creates a fair environment for the EE pool.
To tackle this problem, CIC should introduce a nominal fee of 100$ to register Express Entry profile and enter the pool. People who have real aspirations and those who value ITA wouldn't mind spending that 100$

This would eliminate fake profiles and would also make those who don't have the docs ready cautious to enter the pool.

Hi all... Good luck to all those who are awaiting their ITAs tonight... JUst one question..
I have been working in middle east for past 2 years under work visa. If my company is not willing to give me the reference letter.. can i use my work visa to substantiate my job nature.. in my visa it is clearly given that my visa is for mechanical engineer.. has anyone had similar experience??

I have to disagree!! They Specifically said below portion

"Don’t complete your medical exam until you get your invitation to apply. The results of your exam must be valid at the time you submit your application for permanent residence. For this reason, it is a good idea to complete the exam as close as possible to the date you submit your online application."

Please check(verify) the link blow for previous statement:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp

In addition to that, I have tried to book the appointment for the medical but the doctor's office said I must bring ITA in order to do the medical exam.

Dear All good day, just being skeptical that the next draw will be our day ( stuck at 425, being too optimistic) as mentioned before my case got rejected in august 17.
Will i have to go again for the medical test, the tests are valid for 1 year rite ? as they costs alot here in Pakistan around 200$ each adult.
The PCC will have to be renewed though as they carry validity of 180 days i think.

Good luck every 1
