1. Swedish pcc : yes,go for it
2. Indian PCC : it can be obtained within a week time through passport seva Kendra,so it is better to wait till u get ita
3.USA :
PCC should be dated 'after you finally left the country' if you are no more residing there and should be dated within last six months if you are residing. So if you apply now, obviously FBI won't cover ur forthcoming stay period. It will work for you only if you get ur ita & file eAPR before you are required to travel again to USA...otherwise,apply as soon as you are back from ur trip
-----
@Po0oyaa
any additions in points will come in handy esp nearing 400...missing a draw by 2 points could mean a longer wait..imagine someone who sat at 412 when it hit 413....u know where we are now...
----
@srvsh.pawar
PCC is valid for six months and I really hope and feel u should be having ur eAPR by then...so it may not be so bad to have it also ready with you... :)
Thanks @lino82....
A quick clarification : "the PCC needs to have the 6 months condition at the time of uploading file after receiving ITA".. right ?

Here is a thought, let me run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes it!!
  • Create a Web Portal for the Yukon party, such that it becomes an annual event.
  • The site would be a one-stop resource for the planned party, and membership shall be based on invite only.
  • It would allow exclusive access to the Yukon event and help take in advice, and allow assignments of work for each member before/during the event.
  • It would maintain a Secretary General's position, inter alia, and nominate future aspirants to similar positions.
  • It would feature a pledge component, from willing to lend a hand during the event to contributing to crowd-fund it.
Among the first things, is to look for volunteers to work on:
  • Design and Development of the Website (any programmer in the house, with a few hours to spare?)
  • Design of a Logo for the Website/Flag for the Event (any Graphic designer willing to volunteer?)
We could collaborate on Trello. I hope to receive some response(s) soon, and many volunteers from this Ray of Hope.

PS: I wish I could reinstate my original account @xibalban, requesting the @admin didn't seem to work.
a great idea which shall help all of us in lot many ways...I'll lend my support.... my technical expertise is limited, however in planning & organising the event, shall give my inputs and support..
I agree with all the points & would love to take the collaboration beyond the Yukon gathering...however,about the exclusivity of the event,i beg to differ...I would be happier if we could reach out to more people and welcome whoever wants to participate based on advance registration...we shouldn't leave out anyone...however we may have a governing council of senior members to decide on such all matters...I'm sure there are legal requirements to be followed if such a planned gathering is to happen at a public place...

secondly,we all will be trying our best to integrate & merge into the society as that would be everyones aim and it'd serve everyone better to integrate seamlessly into the Canadian society(though it is nearly impossible)...special care should be taken not to generate any public sentiment (among the citizens) against the immigration policies by the event...catching bad publicity at some stage/as showing strength or a pointer to future moves of 'immigrants'....public gatherings could give the far right wing ppl something to raise a red flag...
---
I'm for our Yukon party and beyond ...but my only concern would be that it should be planned so delicately that it shouldn't lead to alter the harmony that exists among the immigrants & citizens..
we know there is rift in some migrant friendly countries which is surely undesireble and we wouldn't want to start off that here :)
--
wish you could get back the old profile of urs... :) ... but being back itself is great..
----
the web page should have menu tabs for creative expressions / entrepreneurial ideas / employment notifications / moral support ~to share issues / emergency assistance / helpful govt websites etc.

Yes...
if I'm filing eAPR today,it is ideal that PCC should have been taken "not before" 15th March or so...( technically,a pcc taken after feb26th could be used as it will still be not older than six months)

UPDATES ON PR APPLICATIONS AND COPR (Figures are rounded & till August 2017)

Looking into the latest data of CIC it reveals that about 187,500 application for PR is received and 235,000 CoPR is issued. The total expected figures for applications is 281,380 and for CoPR is 300,000.

It is expected that 93,880 (23,470 per month as compared to 23,450 per month for the 1st Quarter) more applications will be received by the end of this year. Expected CoPR to be issued is 65,000 (16,250 per month as compared to 29,350 per month for the 1st Quarter) by the end of this year.

Recent Changes on Cards:

1. As per the original plans, Human Resource was expected to be reduced but now IRCC has been allowed to hire temporary staff to speed up applications held in Offices throughout Canada (not sure about Visa offices outside Canada).

2. However, Security Checks are expected to be increased and a new power has been given to landing officers. This means if there are some red flags on applicants security checks then Security Officer may suggest Visa Office contact Landing Office before issuing CoPR. It may result in some applicants from certain backgrounds to fulfill certain criteria's before Visa can be issued. This new check also allows landing officer to ask applicants to reach from certain ports and tell officers the date and time they will arrive (or else ask applicants to arrive on certain dates).

3. PM of Canada also assured that they will provide all resources and staff required to complete applications on time especially for Refugees. There are also changes proposed for PNP applications including having a separate office in each partnering state to process their applications. If this change is implemented then the speed of PNP applications will match those of FSW nowadays.

4. For Inland applicants, the good news is that PM has asked IRCC to reduce the time of processing for them to achieve governments goals of retention of Valuable skills.

Point 1 & 2 are already in implementation stage while 3 & 4 are in Exposure Draft stage and may come into effect from Mid-2018 or later.
