I just got this from IRCC:

"Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Since we know that sponsoring or being sponsored is an important event in your life, we want to ensure that you have all the information and tools at your disposal to make this process as easy and enjoyable as possible.

We are pleased to confirm the reception of the medical results. We have forwarded them to the responsible office for their consideration.

If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you.

IRCC is committed to reviewing most spousal sponsorship applications within a 12-month time frame. Although the estimated time may vary, rest assured that we are making the necessary efforts to complete your application according to this commitment.

In the meantime, the person being sponsored can follow up on the progress of their application and receive automated updates by linking their application to an online account.

If your situation has changed since you have applied and you wish to update your application we invite you to use the tools available on the IRCC website.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:"

Haha so first they say DM on ECAS and then they inform me that they "received", not even passed but just "received" my medical?
The important thing is your DM on ECAS, but yes funny to receive an email regarding medical exam after your DM.

Well maybe that`s because I submitted Medical Report from Panel Physician thought IRCC WebForm as proof of that I got it all done on time, and information that all rest of the results should be send thorough eMedical soon.

Yes that's likely the reason why.

I understand why your feeling frustrated we all had our moments. but imagine being under the old application me and my husband was December 14,2015 and we finished with landing interview at cic etobicoke on April 28,2017 took us 16 or 17 months . you must understand there is a lot of family class application inland ando outland
we already are at the 16 month point .. nothing has changed, at this rate we will be lucky to be done in 24 months :(

Phewww!!! Hey guys, just checked Ecas at work now and decision has been made on both sides in spouse and applicant columns. My spouse also received a letter of approval of sponsorship today. Checked cic website and there is a mail confirming my eligibility. No mail yet informing me of the outcome of their decision.

Technically submitted on September 7, 2016 as that was the day the received my application after it was initially returned to me. No procedural fairness letter. What next guys? I am cautiously elated.

Will do a couple of jumping Jack's when I get the letter informing me of their decision. I am extremely optimistic though. I am thankful to God and to you all for the comfort and guide you lot offered. Profiler, Sylvain, Browning, Carol b, and others to numerous to mention, you guys rock.
Am waiting for my letter as well, i am september 1 and we got DM on SA and PA with my sponsor getting her letter saying you are responsible for this man for the next 3 yrs. . No excuses lol congrats

my wife today received a letter from cic and the letter says i am not satisfied that you and your sponsor have been cohabiting in the same residence since the filing of your application. first time we submitted joint bank account, joint owership of property ,filing tax together, health care.

The letter looks so scarry. The cic is asking for more evidences and we will apply via Case Specific Enquiry . does anyone know after apply the documents how long it will take ? do we have to line up again? did anyone have received same letter before ?

That's a procedural fairness letter. See my signature for a list of proof that you can send them.

Without seeing the full content, that's the best help I can provide. If you'd like to message me the content (removing personal details), I could provide more guidance.

Others have gotten this and have been successful.

Hi Profiler,
you are the best. here is the letter .

This letter refers to your application for permanent residence under the Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada class.

Having reviewed your application, I have concerns that you may not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

Based on the limited evidence that you have provided, I am not satisfied that you and your sponsor have been cohabiting in the same residence since the filing of your application. On May 11, 2017, a letter was sent to you requesting for evidence of cohabitation from January 28, 2016 to present day. You have not provided sufficient evidence to satisfy me that you have cohabitated with your sponsor since January 28, 2016.

The onus is on you to satisfy me that you are a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. I would therefore request that you send any information and/or documents which you consider might respond to this concern within thirty (30) days from the date of this letter. For assistance in demonstrating how to meet this requirement, please visit the CIC website at www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-who.asp. I must also advise you that failure to disabuse me of my concern may result in the refusal of your application.

Please send the requested information / document(s) and all future inquiries with respect to your application via the Case Specific Enquiry form at the following link: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.

I have helped someone with a similar letter. Looks like they sent you a request for more proof, and not enough proof was sent. See the Co-habitation heading from my previous post here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/spousal-sponsorship-in-land-applications-2016-timeline-and-updates.389295/page-894#post-6105394

That is right from the officer's processing manual. Those are the proofs they will expect. You can literally send them anything that states your address and her address. Driver's licenses or other forms of provincial ID is perfect for this. But you can use bank statements, doctor (dentist, vet, etc) receipts showing address (statement of account??), etc. You need to send as much proof as you can possibly find now, as the procedural fairness letter means they are about to refuse your case. So, send them absolutely every piece of mail the PA has received with an address on it (as much as possible).

no idea.
we submitted joint bank account, joint owership of property ,filing tax together, health care together. we were so positive about it before.
that is scary to hear, lives are in limbo based on the whim of the agent, best of luck to you, I can't even imagine what I'll do and feel if we get turned down for PR, my spouse is my life, but economically I can't leave my work and move away from Canada where I was born, the power the agents have over our very existence is extreme and it makes me stressed out beyond belief just thinking about it

best of luck to you, this whole process sucks
