I'm thinking the same.... we had DM only on Sponsor side like 5 months ago and since then nothing we are April 2016 applicant, still waiting. looking less and less likely every week that goes by that this will be done before 2018 :(

good luck and hope our waits don't torture us tooooo much longer, we feel the same as you it feels like being forgotten and now with the refugee terrorist attack in Edmonton hopefully things don't end up going even slower trying to figure out where they might have went wrong in their vetting...

yeah, they still seem to be on that path to take that much time too :( so much for the excitement they brought many of us with the announcements last year, just false hope :(

we are April 2016 and ours says exactly the same as yours, the waiting feels like it is taking forever, month after month with no changes hope for luck for you and us and all the rest of us in these "forgotten months", hope they will get us done before 2018 but I'm not holding my breath

congrats! we are April 2016 applicant too and we got that same AIP letter 4 months ago (except we already had medical approved and didn't need anything more) and since then nothing at all, so the wait continues..... hoping for some luck for both of us, it seems like we are in the "forgotten"...

zero progress here too, checking in every day twice a day and nothing ever changes. We are April 2016 and nothing has progressed for months. Seems the only thing they changed since last year was made it more impossible to actually talk to a real person there.

is it even possible to get through to CIC on phone? or is it always the same recording "we can't connect you to an agent at this time"
