Did anybody that became a Permanent Resident on the beginning of September receive PR Card yet?

Landed today! :) Interview was really straight forward. It literally took 5-10 minutes. Waiting for PR card now! :) Special thanks @profiler and @sylvain1 for very fast and professional help every time I needed it!

No. I didn`t include my application number in the request. Only my name and address

I did e-mail MP. Today I emailed him again to withdraw my request since they ended up scheduling my appointment in Kelowna not Vancouver.

"We are pleased to advise you that your final determination for permanent residence interview has been scheduled for: 6 September 2017 at 10 30 AM." IN KELOWNA!!! :) Wooooohoooo! It is hard to express how happy I feel that I am so close to be done!!

Done. I hope that MP will be able to help. If not.. I guess I will have to have trip to Vancouver.

IRCC agent told me that it would not be possible.. Should I still try to contact MP and see if he can influence that somehow? Or should I just prepare for 800km + trip? :o

My call has been transferred. I am on hold now. If that doesn`t work I will email my local MP then. Thank you @profiler

Or I can submit my request via IRCC WebForm. What can my local MP do about that?

I certainly will give it a try and call though. If somehow they can change that I would be really happy! 800km for 'landing appointment' seems to be a little much :o

Checked MyCIC today and: "We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Vancouver Immigration will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application." @profiler @sylvain1...

Another morning passes by.. no landing invitation on my email. I really can`t wait for it..

@profiler @sylvain1 Whoops! It seems like I skipped this part: "This chart explains the changes that have been made to the Citizenship Act and indicates when these changes are expected to come into force." Now everything is clear :D

@profiler Awww.. those are 'Changes expected to take effect in fall 2017'. So they are not valid yet. That explains info that I found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/adults.asp
