Did you ever go through Complete Guide IMM 5289..? If not then let me help you with that.

The guide states that, "Check the country-specific requirements to see if you need to submit any original documents. If the country specific requirements tell you that you must submit an original document instead of a copy, you must submit the original or we will return your application."

In this case, they have asked Original Copy.

If you haven't submitted Original then at least Notarized copy would help if CIC Officer is kind enough to understand importance of Notarized copy.

Again do not panic as of now if you have just sent photocopies. Because, I have seen in previous months' Timeline excel sheets that CIC asks you to upload color copy of Original Birth Certificate on your GCKey Account. So, if they are not satisfied with your photocopies then they might ask you to upload original certificate on your CIC account or via Webforms or ask you to mail them physically instead of returning whole file back to you.

The 'linking' is very non-intuitive process. If you give more details of what went wrong then somebody may help you.

Is the IMM5562 form ( a supplementary information form ) a mandatory required form for the application ?
Because I got a email to send this form from CIC.

I got File no and UCI in the morning. I am the sponsor. My spouse havent received yet. So I try to link application suing UCI and File no. But its not in their record.

wait for the PA to get the email, then only you can link the app to the acct, because you need to input the PA info to the gckey to connect ..

Can some one throw some light on it that does my spouse has to get new photos and get them digital or we can use existing photos we sent with the application and convert them in digital picture??is there an online tool to do it or some professional photographer can do it?? thanks

Hi everyone, I used to be very good about keeping up with this thread but have lost track in the last week. So, apologies if this question has been answered recently!

My partner (the PA) had received AOR, has linked his application, and almost immediate got a request for PCC and Sched. A on July 16. We are waiting for the FBI check right now which should arrive next week. But, I (the sponsor) have not received a work via email, no SA or anything. I find that odd. Am I wrong in assuming this?
