Noticed my Review of additional documents was different today. It changed from:
We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details.

To: We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.

This is such a pain I have a feeling it is going to be the Police Certificate as we sent a scanned copy instead of original but they responded with no further action required (as in they accepted it). GCMS notes showed received.
If not then it could be the IMM 5604 - Declaration from non-accompanying parent. Even though GCMS notes showed they canceled this.

also, in looking at mine, it has said that for several weeks, and they need nothing else.. it was like this even before they requested the canadian rcmp check for my husband.. i reported a technical issue and they stated that nothing is outstanding... when you are on the main page to view your application, does it say "Your action is required" in one of the boxes before you click on the option to see the table?

Hey guys , i first want to thank you all for all of your great advice thru out the whole process, it was really helpful. I wanted to update you guys on my wife's application as i finally got the cic messege i been waiting for, they asked for her passport. just heads up i didn't get an email they sent the messege directly to myCiC account . Here is my time line.

1. application for permanent residence on September 30, 2016.
2. started processing application on January 19, 2017.
3. Re send medicals and , police clearance May 20 they asked for them may 11.
4. July 24, 1017 - Corfirmation of pemanance.

Wish u all good luck , and i hope all your applications goes well.

Hello PumpkingPoet, so happy you reached the last step of the app of your wife. I hope it start moving for all of us. I noticed they started processing the PR on January 19,2017 is the same date they started processing my PR app too. but my case I haven't seen any updates since january 19...

have you ordered your notes? does ECAS say anything?

We haven't ordered the notes yet. I was going to at the end of this month if we hadn't heard anything.
Ecas says the same 3 lines, they received our all December, medical results received and they started processing March 28. However we didn't get the email for Aor2 until May 25 haha
That's the last of anything we know.

No I don't get that and nothing under "View submitted application" it says "There are no required documents for this Online Application."

Once you hit the 7-8 month you start to get impatient But I agree it's not bad . Our case was strait forward thou, never married, no kids , she only lived in one place her whole life. Best of luck to you aloaleja

I'm trying so hard not to be but it's so hard to know what to do. We want to see each other but then if we plan something and then end up having to turn around and go right back to Dominican again. Ughhhhh I just got back and want to go again. It gets harder and harder each time to be home and away from your spouse. We can't plan anything being in limbo

Thanks, The good thing about it is that we made it this far going on 10months. Hopefully is not that long now for you and your spouse. I admit me and my wife were getting a little impatient It's nice to be planning her welcome to Canada, finally and not worry about more documents or an interview .

I asked for confirmation and they confirmed 48 hrs later - my officer as the email again was signed with the same initials. I ordered notes again to see what they said abt eligibility and background... they wont be prepared for a few days so its all good gives them more time. Just waiting on ppr now
