They asked for UCI for searching the case and then some personal information to verify

Good news is at least now they say they have your passport and its in waiting room rather saying they are not sure about your passport . I'm sure you'll be getting an approval real soon.

Man, my passport was delivered on 28th June, and I am flying on 16th July. I thought two weeks were more than enough until I saw this thread.

Yeah thats what I thought. But I see people after 10 business days, their tracker still not active. But finger crossed.

You'll and I can feel what you're going thru. Unfortunately your case is slightly different since earlier they couldn't confirm they've got your password. So I would suggest count 10 business day from the day they started saying they confirm your passport is received and is in printing room. You'll should have approval by end of those 10 business days. Sending positive vibes

I forgot too haha. So now gonna keep an eye on door every 10 minutes.

I've have noticed from this thread they dispatch mails Tuesdays and Fridays. So if that goes true ours should be sent tonight. Keep an eye on mail box

Could talk to an agent some minutes back. She told me that they have received the passports and case is still in Open status. She could not tell me much. I am wondering what it should be that my case is still in Open status.

Does this ever happen that after Passport request (and submission of Passports) we dont get a COPR?

"Open status" just means it hasn't been updated in MyCIC yet. There's no way IRCC will refuse your application AFTER requesting your passport. That would make no sense.

The call center person can tell you tracking number once it is sent. At least that's what the agent I spoke to told me..

My lawyer's office does not take any calls on Fridays .. .. I have to wait till Monday to find out if My CIC status is updated or not ...

Did the tracker get activated for anyone yet.. Mine is FedEx and its not activated yet.
