Congrats. Yes, your file is transferred to NDVO after attaching the Schedule A.

Thanks. They also asked for PCC.

Does this means background check is done first in Mississauga and then in NDVO.

How much time it takes to get an email (AOR2) and for the line to appear in e-cas.

Previously, background check used to be done by the local VO's but now CPC Mississauga is doing background check to ease the work load at the local VO. The files are sent to local VO's in batches. Expect the 3rd line in PA ECAS after 7-12 days and then an email (AOR2) from NDVO.

On the spreadsheet, a column header says AOR2 or 3rd line.

Where is that 3rd line? On ecas?

On ecas, our app (which is "in process") only has 2:

1. We received your app on...
2. We start working on your app on...

Is it where i'll see a 3rd one?

The 3rd line in PA ECAS is referred to as "We have started processing XXXXX application on XX/XX/XXXX" which is equivalent to AOR2. Usually, the 1st line is "We received XXXXX application for permanent residence on XX/XX/XXXX" and 2nd line is "We have sent you correspondence on XX/XX/XXXX".

Hi Libu, I would like to know where did you get this information? Our schedule a and pcc was attached on May 1st and transferred to manila visa office May 19th. Yes, they sent the file per batch in Manila too.

All this information i got by reading different threads and by comparing my application with others. Usually, the background check was the last step before the decision made but few of the recent applicants had their background check in progress(being done in CPC Mississauga) before the file transfer to the local VO. Also, the medical request were being requested by local VO but now CPC Mississauga requests before transferring the files to local VO's.

We got the correspondence (in gckey) for PCC, Schedule A and Meds before they sent the file to th VO. I guess that's why we only have 2 lines.

Seems our 2nd line is our AOR2 equivalent

Yeah I read some of it too but I havent confirm if it's true. Also, when I received an email confirming that they received the schedule a and pcc that I sent on webform, I was wandering why there was no changes in mycic account or ecas. Unlike before that ecas will changed to in process immediately after they received the documents. Is that what happened to your application too? Does it changed to in process immediately after you sent the requested documents? So, I phone cic after 5 days of confirmation email and the agent told me that they have the schedule a and pcc, and the officer is still assessing the documents. I'm not sure what kind of assessment they did, but it took them 2 1/2 weeks before my file transferred to manila and they did it by batch, as other applicants received an update on ecas and received file transfer email the same time.

Thanks

Yes, that is your AOR2. The 2nd line might have been added to your Sponsor ECAS, that is what happened in my case though.

Since after uploading the documents in webform they were experiencing huge volumes they might tend to take time. In my case, i had the Schedule A requested in my CIC account. The ECAS and CIC was updated in a proper way for me. Uploaded Schedule A in CIC account->ECAS-"in process"->email regarding file transfer->3 rd line in PA ECAS->AOR2->Medical request->Background check in CIC account->DM in ECAS.

Did you ever see background check in progress in gckey?

Sorry if you've already answered this but how did you submit your schedule A form?
