I submitted my spousal application on March 11, 2017. Then i got an SMS on March 14th saying that IRCC has received my application, since then I haven't been contacted via email or phone. I am worried it has been over 2 months and I haven't gotten an update. What should I do? Is there an number can call?
Any help is appreciated!

i submitted on 28th march.they returned it on 26th of April but still have not received it back. i applied from alberta.from which province have u applied?

This is quite long to hear something back from them. Usually you should get at least an AOR within a month. You should call the IRCC call center 1-888-242-2100 (only from within Canada) asap and ask them to look for your details in their system.

If they had returned my application,wouldnt they have sent me atleast email leting me know that its being returned

There is no specific answer for this as it is dependent on case to case. Usually, it takes 1-3 months after you get AOR2.
