I couldn't have put it better myself, life is difficult everywhere. Please don't think am being insensitive of your situation, just trying to encourage folks. Am sure I will feel same as you if I was apart from my hubby for as extended a period as you have. God help us all.Sigh.. sorry to hear all that..I have a pretty fair idea about the challenges prevalent in Canada these days specially the soaring property prices and employment issues.
.. but trust me life is not easy anywhere in the world...be it UK or Canada or Pakistan or US... each country has its own struggles...Im sure u have read and heard about the issues we face in Pakistan too.. killer heat waves, power outages, rising inflation, fuel crisis, security issues, severe employment issues even for MBAs graduating from one of the best business schools in the country.like me...Life is all about struggles for everyone.. few get it easy...and they are among the very very lucky ones.
However, i firmly believe that when ur partner's support and presence significantly helps in coping life stressors better. Let us hope that God makes our process a quick one and makes it easier for us to settle down in Canada
Yeah nov 2015 when i sent my docs and in feb is when i rec first acceptance from missisuagaHi, Your previous posts say that you are November 2015 applicant. Please confirm.
I 100% agree with u buddy. I am in Canada at present and God knows the challenges are massive. From getting a job to house prices which has gone up by 35% in the last yeah. Even getting an interview is an uphill task. I honestly think a lot of people are in for a shock. So people relax charge your batteries cause you gonna need it. All that being said I still wish LVO will hurry up
I highly doubt anyone is using this forum to throw shade on Pakistan or talk about how miserable life is in Pakistan. It's only about how miserable life can be without your spouse by your side. Be it in Canada or in Pakistan or anywhere else in the world for that matter. I'm sure we all appreciate forum members bringing to our attention the hardships in Canada as it will help us prepare for our move there. That being said, those hardships are secondary (and not nearly as emotionally difficult) to not being able to live with your lawful spouse. Economic downturn is today's reality, so trust me, people are having difficulties living their lives in all parts of the world. But economic hardships coupled with not being able to lead a normal married life due to long distance, is just a completely different story.Hey Londo, so this is nothing new you're bringing to this forum follower's attention. I highlighted the exact same issues about 2 months ago. Trust me, I was being laughed at the end of the day, and I was being made aware of how much a terrible place is Pakistan to live. I'd say let them learn the hardest way. I am sure they'll miss Pakistan more when they have to go to work right after Eid Namaz, and 'Mexican mangoes' taste way better than 'Pakistani Mangoes'.. Not at all saying Canada isn't the greatest place to live, it is truly amazing but people don't want to listen to the Canadian hardship, and just want bring to Pakistan down by all means. I'll be honest one only realize the worth of Pakistan once you leave the motherland. Secondly, I see lot of counselling going here, well I definitely encourage people helping each other out. However, what fascinates me the most those who even stepped in yet here in Canada are providing guidance regarding various aspects of Canadian life style. I'm sure you're aware if you provide false counselling to someone here in Canada and they screw up you know one is up for a "Lawsuit". I don't want to say much you know the rest.
Anyways good luck on your spousal sponsorship.
I totally agree with you on the point that no one is using this forum to put Pakistan down. At the end of the day we should realize that we are all on the same boat, miserable people waiting to reunite and start a life with our spouse.I highly doubt anyone is using this forum to throw shade on Pakistan or talk about how miserable life is in Pakistan. I agree, whether in Pakistan or Canada, there are challenges everywhere. No point bringing down anyone or wishing they'll learn the hard way. I dont think anyone here has the assumption that life in Canada is easy and without any issues. What we should agree on is life is so much harder without our spouses with us.I highly doubt anyone is using this forum to throw shade on Pakistan or talk about how miserable life is in Pakistan. Londo, trust me when i say this that your comments have not hurt anyone here. However those preceding and following it (including my own), are a source of controversy here. But again i totally agree with you that this discussion will never do anyone any good. Its better we focus on the topic of this thread and help one another rather then get into a stinky mood.Ok my lovely people, let's forget this now and move forward. I think everyone as made a valid point. I assure u all I meant no harm by my comments and am sorry if I offended anyone. Lets all just admit it's our frustration coming out lol. Let's not turn one each other now because like it or not we all need each other. May God make all our wait for PR short
