Have you ever held travel documents or passports during your 5-year eligibility period? Provide an explanation

This is my answer:

No. I have not held any travel documents during this period as I have never left outside the country or applied for any travel document. I came to Canada in 2019 and I had only a photocopy of the bio page in my passport. This photocopy was verified by CBSA.
Do I still upload the bio page of my expired photocopy ?

Do you currently, or have you ever held immigration or citizenship status in a country or territory other than Canada

(this includes your country of birth)?

Immigration and citizenship status 1

Date obtained or effective date

Year (YYYY)

Month

Day

End date

This is my answer:

I use my date of birth as my citizenship confirmation in the country I was born and am confused about the end date. I applied for a refugee here but did not renounce my country citizenship so what do I put as the end date?

That's strange. A five-year period starting from today, February 21, 2025, would have begun on February 21, 2020.
When did you exactly applied? What was the reason(s) they sent back your application? Btw end date for home country citizenship is N/A non applicable, leave that blank.

There's a checkbox titled 'Not applicable' under the end date (because there's no end date). Click that, the box no longer requires you to enter anything.

It doesn't matter when you got your PR here, you will always be a citizen of the country that you were born. That should be left blank or add Present. When did you get the PR, you should have at least 2 years as PR before applying for citizenship out of 5 years eligibility

What was the validity of your passport? As you said you only had photocopy of it. What happened to the original one?

I had my protected person status in April 2021
I had my PR status in August 2022
I applied for my citizenship in January 2015.

I do not hold any valid passport during this eligibility period. Do I upload my photocopy of my bio passport. That was given to me by USA immigration when they seized the original
