That's strange. A five-year period starting from today, February 21, 2025, would have begun on February 21, 2020. When did you exactly applied? What was the reason(s) they sent back your application? Btw end date for home country citizenship is N/A non applicable, leave that blank.

I have also experienced discrimination, unfortunately, but it's still better than in my home country. I also see it as something that can happen anywhere, and once I become Canadian, I feel like I'll be able to stand up for myself better.

Update: Got invitation e-mail today, virtual ceremony. Big disappointment, but can't risk rescheduling due to travel.
