We don't have many data points on minors applying alone. Since they are exempt from the test, the rigor of their verification process is still unclear to me. You may have to call IRCC and check the progress.

There are also two different procedures, kids applying on basis of their own residency, or applying on basis of being a PR and a citizen-parent.
But in either case (from my limited experience with the latter scenario), not enough data and no reason to believe substantially different from citizenship grants for adults. (Probably fewer 'long-tail' ones that drag out for much longer due to security clearance hold-ups)
For normal cases mostly they don't but for express and urgent delivery they do.

It’s been 3 weeks since my prohibition was completed. I haven’t received any updates from IRCC and the call center seems not to have any reasonable answer when I called. Does anyone else have similar experience? It is nerve wrenching waiting for update.
Hey! I have the same thing scheduled for 18-Feb-2025. Do you know what they asked? How long was the interview? Did they give you an option to have oath on the same day?
They usually verify your ID documents and passport and ask basic questions regarding your application and travel history. If they have any specific concern, they will get your clarifications on the same.
Mostly they do not schedule you for oath on the same day. If the officer is satisfied with what he is looking for, he will complete the application and send it to the oath scheduling team and you should see an update in the tracker in 2 business days
This is perfectly normal. This means your application is approved and they are scheduling you for a virtual oath ceremony. You would see the details updated in the tracker in a day or two.

Just finished my Virtual Ceremony today - 5th Feb 2025 ( 10 am to noon ) . Downloaded the E certificate as well , within 3 hours of the ceremony .
