Dependent child application 2024 - Is the IRCC screwed up or just me?

Hey @armoured, I had called them and submitted a webform for 'Adding a Document'; to inform them of receiving PPR and my daughter being in Canada. I had also sent an email to the New Delhi office (from where I had received PPR). Do you know how much time should I wait before expecting a response?

I had called IRCC Canada again to check but they informed me that they cannot check this since its being processed in Delhi. No one is answering at the Delhi office. Other comments on this forum mention that they receive COPR and landing instructions usually within a day. Any suggestions on what I should do? Wait it out for a few days or any other action can be taken?

That timeline is fairly unusual

Unpredictable as far as I'm aware - but be warned that if I understand correctly, it's only been about ten days. Nothing out of ordinary takes less than 10 days at IRCC. You could be looking at months, hopefully less than 2 or 3, but I don't know.

Your situation is probably NOT like others who have received the COPR and landing instructions within a day (which - BTW - is not usually possible either, you must have misunderstood or somewhat misstated - but not the issue here anyway).

This is not to scare you, it might well come sooner - but your expectation that it'll happen in days is way off.
