If you replied what they asked in P1, you will have to just wait for P2. Sometimes some applicants wait a few weeks, some a few months to get P2.

Got an email today that they did not receive our response to the P1 email and asked us to send the requested information! We double checked that the email address we replied to is correct and replied to that email twice this time, and CC'ed our own emails while replying.

Is this the correct email ID to respond to the P1 email, we got the information request along with the PDF attached from this ID only? ircc.clientportal-portailclient.ircc@cic.gc.ca

And has anyone run into this problem?

Called them today morning, managed to get through to someone after waiting for 35 mins. They said they could not get into the application or mailbox and confirm the information requested was received, which is weird because when I had to call for my PR application years ago, they were able to look at my case derails from their end very easily. They also said sometimes we may get the same email several times and we should simply reply to that email.

As a PSA to anyone else who may have to endure this ludicrosity, we have replied to the p1 email 3 times - once to their first p1 email and then twice to their second p1 email which claimed we didn't respond the first time, and added our personal emails in cc and bcc while responding the 3rd time. We also submitted a webform last night with the entire information requested and explained in detail what happened and what we did.

Already spoke to my local MP, and told them after destroying the military, destroying the economy, destroying Canada's image the last thing they are destroying on their way out is immigration.

The fact that people can have a baby faster than they can sponsor a spouse is a total joke and these people should be ashamed of what they have done to what was once an immigration system that was the envy of the world.

They gave me an intake form and said they will assist with my case but I don't think that means anything as this is a lame-duck government that is on its way out. When we applied the processing time was 9 months. It is now 8 months and a few days. I'll wait until the 9 month mark.

I urge all of you to get your sponsor to write your MP. What they have done to the immigration system is a total joke. Endless portals, endless emails, endless statuses. These people increased the public service but decreased the quality of service.

Last thing. MPs claim that IRCC is an arm's leg agency that they have no influence over but this is total BS; they have endlessly let in and bent the rules for unproductive refugees on benefits, students in breach of their conditions, and many other cases.

Don't complain to get preferential treatment, remember - we have all paid a fee for this service that should be conducted in a reasonable and responsible manner. What Liberal policies have done is destroyed that promise.

please let me know documents needed for it.
my agent is saying I need lot of documents showing finances, relationship proof etc. but when I check online videos and checklist only show some limited documents which does not include these.
If someone can help please

Hey thanks for this I watched this and the documents make sense. But I talked to an agent and they mentioned a lot of extra documents like financial stuff and relationship proof etc. thats is why I am confused.
I want to know has anyone applied using this list in the video and got the permit?
