Did you include job responsibilities on the resume? I just put the job title. Will I be okay?

Yes although Resume is supposed to be short and sweet this one needs to be without gaps and in detail. As ADR I received was for resume too.

Invitation received on May 29th.
Application submitted on Jun 11th.
ADR - July 23rd.
AOR and PCC - October 4th.
Biometric - January 2nd.
Sponsorship approval - Jan 8th.

Was there anyone that DID NOT list the job duties on the resume but only the job titles and still got AOR? I forgot to do this even after they request ADR for resume sorry for repost but I’m worried

Their main agenda is that there should be no gaps. Hence, If you covered that part then I think you should be good.

Can some one tell me if one of my parent is India and other in Canada, if they request passports should I be able to submit their passports at separate places or would I be required to do this at one location.

Received Biometric submission request for my Mother's PR application.
App submitted on June 3rd, AOR on Sept 14th.
Application changed due to my father passing away and new application number assigned on Jan 9th 2025

Hi guys, When applying for my parents PCC I went to RCMP as my mom and dad stayed in canada for more than 6 months on supervisa. The RCMP front desk told me they cannot do a background check on them as they are not residents rather visitors. Does anyone know if this accurate? or do I need try again.

We dont need PCC from Canada. PCC is needed only from your home country or from another country where your parents have stayed for more than 6 months

Where did they send your application for processing? My application is forwarded to Montreal.

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for
Permanent Residence for your relative will be forwarded to Montreal Immigration for further
processing. This office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements
of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Just received email from cic that parents file transferred to Mississagua and requested police certificate.
Submitted at the end of July. Requested more doc in Dec.2024
Question. Only Principal Applicant need to submit police certificate??
Nothing change on passport. Residential address and email. Should resubmit them??

I just submitted PCC and no issues.
