We dont need PCC from Canada. PCC is needed only from your home country or from another country where your parents have stayed for more than 6 months
What if the applicant has stayed more than 6 months in canada (either in super visa or visitor visa with an extension). Generally they would say to take police clearance any country more than 6 months of stay right?

Just got a letter for an incomplete app. I'm missing IMM 1344, and 5406, 5669. Letter said I have 30 days to submit.
Better than hearing nothing from CIC I guess.
Have a feeling this will take a while.

It was the same case with my parents and many others. You can call IRCC and confirm with them. also please see the link below, but if you still have doubt, please do call IRCC and confirm. It will help others as well.

See the links below, i know it applies to express entry but this is what i follow generally/
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/police-certificates.html

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/canada.html

Who needs police certificates
Our online system will ask for a police certificate for:

  • you and your family members who are 18 years or older
  • and
  • every country you (or a family member) stayed in during the last 10 years for 6 months in a row or longer
You don’t need to give us police certificates for any period of time before you were 18 years old or for time spent in Canada.
