In the IRCC portal, my spousal sponsorship status shows "Submitted." Is that the same as "Application Received"? I've seen many people on Immitrackr mentioning that their status is "Application Received," so I just want to confirm. We have submitted on 30th december, outland, PA India

Nope! They will send you an email stating application submitted or by mail either way you will get something . But submitting just show you submitted an application.
You will receive an AOR when the application checked for completion.
But some people don’t receive it as well, you might get BIL, or other documents from them .

Thank you so much for explaining everything! I must say, your approval came through remarkably quickly. The next steps, as I understand, would involve receiving either the AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt), BIL (Biometrics Instruction Letter), or MIL (Medical Instructions Letter).

Is there anything else I should be mindful of while I wait, admittedly a bit anxiously, for these updates? Your guidance means a lot!

I truly hope the shifting political climate doesn’t affect the processing times significantly. It’s natural to feel some concern, especially when external factors might influence timelines, but I’m optimistic that the system will remain steady and efficient. Fingers crossed for a smooth and timely process!

same, it’s different with AOR though
