Hey, my partner (sponsor) got an email today, confirming that his application arrived, and it came with an UCI and an application number.
This is not the AOR, right? We sent our application at Dec 28.

Oh, I guess I've found the answer. Yes, it is the AOR . Cool. Thinking the application was sent out during the holydays, it didn't take very long to get it.
The Question is, will I get an extra AOR letter for myself as PA?

You should get a letter as the PA if different emails were used. What is PA country?

yes, but only if your application is transferred to an oversea VO

well, it’s not at the moment but you never know if it’s going to be

Today I used the application number my partner (sponsor) received with his AOR, to connect my account with the application. The application number is the same for both of us. It worked and I automatically got an UCI number. I'm glad it worked so easily.

I believe the next step in my spousal application might be receiving a BIL (Biometric Instruction Letter) or an MIL (Medical Instruction Letter). How long it typically takes to get these requests and what factors might affect the timeline?

minor correction, the medical letter is "Medical Examination Instructions"
i noticed for outland it should be within few days to a week from AOR
just wait for it
