Update :

I applied for a new RTD-PR as current expires in Feb 2025.
Oct 2024 - submitted application
November 2024- Called and they said I need new guarantor . I didn't have one so, I used the form from service Canada and got a lawyer to sign it. I sent a new application same day with UPS.
20 November 2024 - Called and they said I need new references , must submit via email provided. I did same day and they fragged application as urgent.
6 December 2024- Called and they said application is in progress, within standard time.
13 December 2024 - Called and they said , waiting for approval.
18 December 2024 - Called and application was approved, CP tracking number provided.
27 December 2024 - Can finally track the application as sent from Ottawa.
30 December 2024 - RTD delivered.

Missed my travel plans but I'm happy to finally get my new RTD with new design. Also, I got my old RTD back as it has US visa.

They can give a tracking number if they dispatch your RTD with Canada Post. If it is Purolator, there is no tracking number. I applied for my daughter (16 yrs) and myself. Purolator delivered my one, but there was no tracking number. My daughter's one is to be delivered by Canada Post, it has a tracking number but is not yet activated. It got stuck for the strike. IRCC says they dispatched it on Nov 14th. I received my one on Nov 18 but still waiting for my daughter's RTD. I went to the Canada Post, and they said that they have nothing to do if the tracking is not activated; IRCC says, they are done with their part. I have no clue except waiting.

I applied RTD in November. I asked Ircc agent he said it was approved and sent it via Purolator on 4 December but don’t give me tracking number. It’s almost 1 month but I don’t get my documents. I need it urgent. Can I submit my RTD application again ? If yes then what I write in application previous documents stolen ? Anyone guide me

Today I called irrcc again they said if you don’t get it you can fill Lost or stolen form (PPTC 203) and pay regular fee+45$ extra fee.

Do you mean they will print the RTD again and send it to you ? or you have to submit a new RTD application?

Is this means all the RTD that shipped through Purolator are lost?

Mine was shipped out through Purolator on December 11th but didn't receive it yet.

I hope we can receive all the RTD's by next week.

Submitting lost or stolen form will cancel the RTD with Purolator, I don't think it's a good idea to submit that form. give it a longer time, maybe by end of the next week due to xmas and new year holidays.

Mine was sent via Purolator Nov 27th , till today nothing.

my other duplicate application was sent back via purolator Dec 5th , till now nothing !

We applied on December 8th for travel document for me and husband and they sent it physically on January 2nd. It was approved very fast but due to Canada Post strike, it took longer to deliver.

I forgot to mention, once you receive a notice on your front door, and with that notice go to address it's written and sign personally and take it there in the envelope.
