Keep in mind that the application timeline has increased since March. So, for example, when I submitted my application in Nov 2023, the expected processing time was 24 months. The expected processing time is based on when they received your application. That means for me, it is still 24 months, even though the processing time has increased to 27 months for new inland applicants. Naturally, that also means that March applicants likely have a faster expected processing time than the Nov applicants (like me) from the same year.The expected processing time is supposed to estimate the amount of time it would take you to get all of your response details together, too. If you are very expedient and provide your details back quickly, then you chip away at your overall processing time, too.
