You need to provide PCC. Eventhough you can avoid PCC by the mentioned way, IRCC can still ask for one.
Even though its my home country, they can still ask for it even after completing my days to avoid 183 days rule.

Q11: Tell us what you have been doing during your five-year eligibility period, inside and outside of Canada. Enter details of your employment and education history below. Please include any period of unemployment, period of retirement, period working at home as a homemaker or being self employed. Be sure to provide information for the five-year eligibility period. Start with the most recent. If there are any missing days, periods of time or if the section is left blank, your application will be returned to you.
  • Start from your most recent gig.
  • You MUST include EVERYTHING you've been doing throughout your eligibility period (includes unemployment, self-employment, study, retirement or a homemaker).
  • DO NOT LEAVE ANY GAPS. The dates MUST BE CONTINUOUS. IF THERE ARE GAPS HERE, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE RETURNED AS INCOMPLETE.
Hello! so the citizenship online application only takes month and year for "What have you been up to for the last 5 years?"

Say I left a job on April 20th and joined another on May 4th ( May the fourth be with you! XD )

Jokes aside, should I create three entries?
* Job X at company Y from blah to April '24
* Unemployed from April '24 to May '24
* Job A at company B from May '24 to blah

Seems a bit excessive. But I'll be it, if needed for citizenship.

Thoughts?

You have to as there cannot be any gap between entries.

Thanks for responding!

Well, there aren't actually gaps because all I am entering is
* Employer A: blah to April '24
* Employer B: May '24 to blah

The form does not accept date, just month and year.

Thoughts?
If you are saying that the period between A and B was less than a calendar month or fell between them, you'll have to decide. Simple way is to say that if majority of any month was in employment, that's sufficiently detailed. They're not asking for day to day accounting, use your judgment.

Personally I'd consider that a period of less than, say, 3 weeks, is simply normal break between jobs. YMMV.

Guys. I received in-person oath ceremony notification. I am outside of Canada. Is it possible to postpone it to online?
Any case like mine?
I cannot believe all of my friends living there took online oath but I am overseas and mine should be in person!

That doesn't change anything to your situation.
People invited to Zoom ceremonies also have to be in Canada, and if they join the ceremony from elsewhere, are told to leave.
You'll be invited to a second ceremony in a few weeks (or, if unlucky, months), and unless you have a very good reason, and merely being overseas isn't, missing that second ceremony will be considered as an abandonned application, so do your best to join that one.
Also, contact IRCC (webform will do) and let them already know that you can't attend the current ceremony and that you'll be back on a specific date.

Thank you for the information but looks like it can be changed to online oath with a valid excuse. Also if they accept the change, isn't that online ceremony finalized with an e-certificate?

********************************** IMPORTANT NOTES **********************************
1. If you are currently not in Canada, contact us as soon as possible in order to reschedule your ceremony.
Indicate “Outside Canada – Oath of citizenship” in the subject line of the email. Within the text of your
email, include your name, application number and planned date of return to Canada.

2. If you cannot take the oath, i.e. you are not available at this date and time due to work, health, travel, or
other reasons,
you are physically unable or require accommodation, prefer a video oath ceremony, or have
questions about the scheduling of this event, i.e. date, time and location/proximity, contact us as soon as
you receive this invitation with an explanation in order to be rescheduled or to postpone. In your reply,
change the e-mail subject line accordingly, i.e. Ceremony - New date/time needed, Ceremony - video oath
ceremony preferred. IMPORTANT: If you choose to attend a video oath ceremony, it may take up to
approximately 2 to 4 weeks to receive your paper certificate after the ceremony. (Why not e-certificate here?)

Pursuant to paragraph 13.2(1)(b) of the Citizenship Act, if you cannot appear and take the Oath at the
date, and time indicated at the top of page 1, you must contact IRCC within thirty (30) days of the date of
your appointment and provide a reasonable explanation for not attending.
