I graduated from high school in 2019 and received my diploma in Iran.
After that, I participated in our national university entrance exam and was accepted into the top-ranked university in Iran, in the field of Civil Engineering.
After about 4 semesters, I stopped studying and attending classes because I truly disliked Civil Engineering.
I am still technically a student at Sharif University, but I cannot graduate from there and plan to withdraw.
Currently, I am applying to universities in Canada for a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, and I am unsure if I should mention my previous university attendance in my application.
That experience is completely unrelated to my current goals and interests, and I am planning to withdraw from the university. I am concerned about the consequences of not mentioning it in my applications to universities and visa officers.
Could you please advise me on what I should do?
Thank you very much.
