Sept 24 Received PPR / Ready For Visa Email
Sept 25 Submitted Passports to VFS

My tracker says that Background and eligibility are completed and I received Ready For Visa email. But, the same was not updated in my Express Entry profile. Is this common ? Also, are you applying from USA ?

Is P1 the same as "Ready For Visa" email ? (Just to clarify - I am applying from outside canada)

The P1 email is for inlanders. For outlanders, you’ll receive RFV or PPR. Inlanders get their eCOPR first and then receive their PR cards. For outlanders, the process involves getting a TRV stamped on your passport first, coming to Canada, receiving the landing paper (COPR), and then finally getting your PR card.
