That's right. The actual date on tracker does day Sep 18.
The tracker updated date shows Sep 20. But how did you know that?

From experience, tracking citizenship application trends for the past 9 months

The tracker has 2 business days delay, so an update made by IRCC officer on Sep 18 shows up only on Sep 20. So the date updated at the top will be Sep 20 and the actual update for the step completed would reflect Sep 18, when it was actually completed.

Did anyone else struggle to take a clear picture of their ID during the test? It took me a long time to upload a non-blurry picture. How strict are they about it? And how long do they take to upload in the tracker?

It took me a week for the test to be marked completed. Over a week if you will receive an email from IRCC asking for a copy of your photo ID to verify your identity, which happened to my spouse.

It takes 2-10 business days depending upon the office and officer. You should see it updated next week.
