No, that reference number starting with "CAN...." can be used for tracking. I used that and its showing up in the Purolator tracking for me now.

The Purolator tracking number is not there at the BLS website. IS there any other way to find it?

The OCI website didnt update. But the tracking on BLS website updated today to "(Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping)". Does it also update to "dispatch" after this or this is the last update?

I did not get an acknowledgement email. That showed up on the tracker. Applied on 2nd Dec and it showed acknowledgement date of 6th December for some days before changing to Processing status.

Thats worrying to hear. :( Was yours a walkin appointment? I think for walk-ins, from what I am seeing on this forum for Toronto, its delivered around 30 to 35 days after acknowledgement. So you still have time. I applied on 2nd December and got date of acknowledgement is 6 December.

yes, same with me. I went today carrying proof of surrendering voter id and ration card. But they said its not required o add that proof in the application and just sign the declaration.

I am applying for OCI only for myself. Spouse is Indian citizen. I have my spouse India passport copy. Will they want to see spouse original passport as well? or just copy is enough?
