I am a citizen and the sponsor. PA is in the Philippines with dependent
My application got returned today as I made a mistake on IMM 0008 but i cannot add or delete dependent ( i mistakenly added myself as a dependent but im the sponsor) i''ll just maybe write an explanation letter.
i just have to re upload the birth certificates.

hoping to send it today or this week.

Submitted: July 2024 (First week).
AOR: Aug 5th.
BIL: Aug 7th.
Bio metrics updated: Aug 14th.
SA: Aug 15th.
MIL: Aug 17th.
Medical updated: Sep 3.

The only 2 things shown in progress in the gckey account are "Review of Eligibility" and "Final Decision".
Background check's status says "Not Applicable". Does anyone know why would it say not applicable? Do they start it at the end or are there any exceptions in certain cases?
Thank you.
I think the background check shall start soon. Not applicable could mean they have not yet started on it. My background check started after other things, yes.

Sometimes, Background check might have already started but not updated in GCkey. That's why PR Tracker is more important but it's been down for some reason.

Hey guys
I am Pr and am sponsoring my wife.
-We have sent biometrics
-Medicals have passed
-received pre arrival letter
-I received an Email mentioning i met requirements for sponsering.

I have attached her application in my Gc key account for tracking and currently they have mentioned background checks are going and we will send if there any updates.

I have few questions and really concerned about them :

1)What will be the next steps in her application ? CoPr ? or visa stamping (she already has TRV)

2) I have to travel to India for a wedding this November. As the sponsor is international travel advisable as I am reading people say not to some say it doesn't matter. Have they mentioned anything about this in the ircc website which I can follow up on?

It's fine to travel for a trip like attending a wedding and stay couple of week.

But probably not a good idea to have a 6 month long "vacation" outside.

Hi All,

Application submitted: 07/20/24 - In-Canada class.
AOR: 08/15/2024
Medicals Passed: 08/30/2024
BIL: 09/18/2024

I have a question: We received the Biometrics request today, however it indicated the applicant's Indian address although we applied under In-Canada class and submitted all required documents required for In-Canada class. I have booked Biometrics appointment tomorrow. Is there anything I need to worry about? Did anyone face this situation?

What should I do in this case?
