Hi everyone,

I filled out the travel history form last month for my parents' permanent resident application submitted in 2022. We have recently been asked to submit this form again for both my parents and my sister, who has been on a student visa in Canada since January 2024.

I'm unsure why we need to fill out the same forms again. Has anyone else received a similar request? Please share any suggestions you might have.

I have not experience any thing like this but my cousin who sponsored our grandma have to fill out a background history and family form. So a guess it's a regular thing for them,my they just need update stuff

Hi All, my parents application in Vancouver office . Since January 2024 background check in progress . NO UPDATE after medicals And No reply to any query apart from auto reply. Any one facing same situation ?

How long after medical is done it is expected to be updated? I got a polic3 certificate request same day as medical request as well

Hi, on the 19th, we got an email regarding Pre Arrival Services for my mother-in-law (Dec. 2021 applicant). Same time, IRCC also stated that her medical is passed. Can anyone tell me please where the application could be and how much time it may take for PPR now?

Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results - July 19, 2024 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents - We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.
Interview - You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics - We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - July 18, 2024 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Received Medical today. My mother went for her medical exam recently for visitor visa extension. Can we submit the same exam file or does she need another medical exam?

also do we wait for PCC to come or can we just get it before IRCC requests for it?

I think your PPR should be very soon.

I saw your case delayed for a while. May I ask a question: did your mother-in-law have military services or work for government before?
