You SUPER deserve this!!! Soooo happy to have had the opportunity to witness so many great people like you who worked so hard reaching the final step of this long journey!! :)

Saw that you are attending a virtual ceremony, I am certain that you'll enjoy it the same way or even more as if it was in person because it will be YOUR moment!! Enjoy it!! And after that celebrate it A LOT!!

I had the same feeling in the beginning with mine but in the end everything went soo perfect that I still can't find words to explain it!!

SUPER MEGA CONGRATULATIONS!!
Thank you so much! This truly truly means alot!! Only a few days left to go!! I'll be sure to report back about the occasion but honestly, just super excited for it to hapoen. Will fir sure be celebrating :) Can someone also update my info on the tracker? Lol

Hey everyone! I created a mobile-friendly tracker that helps 2024 Canadian citizenship applicants share and compare their timelines (to see how fast the apps are actually moving). We've added February 2024 cohort to the tracker. If you're interested in joining the 100+ people signed up use this link.

P.s. you can be at any stage of the application process.

I've seen other people usually get it days before the ceremony. I too haven't gotten the instructions yet and my cermony is tomorrow. I was gonna ask the IRCC agent during registration.
My husband had an interview
2 days later everything was marked as complete and ceremony scheduled
He received the instructions to download the ecertificate 4 days after receiving the ceremony date

Hope you get everything sorted out very soon!

Hey guys,
So I still have not received any update since my AOR around 6 months ago! No test invite or background check. I was wondering if there is anything else I could do, this is really frustrating. I have ordered ATIP and it looks like fingerprint is required for RCMP, however, I have not received any request on the tracker or email. I have called IRCC a few times and sent a webform regarding this but I only received the general response that your application is being processed and the office will contact you if they want anything from you.

So weird!!!
Sorry you're going through this!
I called today and requested an urgent process. Call again and ask them to send you the webform to expedite. However, you need yo have a good reason to request that. I would just give it a try since you have FP requested and not yet received

Let us know!!
Good luck

My 1st post as a Canadian (can't believe I'm saying that!!). My virtual ceremony today was great! Took 45ish mins to complete registration as there were 130+ of us! The actual ceremony itself was another 45ish mins with the speeches, oath, national anthem and post-ceremony instructions. For those waiting, hang in there - the reward at the end is worth it. Opted initially for paper certificate but because of travelling soon, went for e-certificate. Thank you all for your support :) will continue to be active with post-ceremony details including certificate and passport.

Congrats once again my virtual friend! Mine is tomorrow morning and I still haven't fully processed it. Do let us know as soon as you get the e-certificate. I have to travel very soon as well so hoping we get the e-certificate soon.
