Hi everyone,

I see a lot of timelines from Toronto.

I applied on 19th June 2024 in Vancouver and Date of Acknowledgement is 25th June 2024. Vancouver folks, any idea how long it takes to get OCI after acknowledgement?

Hi,

Submitted OCI application 2 days ago (walk-in), last night my status updated to.

Application Status

Incomplete/Incorrect Data Incomplete/Incorrect Data

"Applicant signature required on page 4"

What should I do ? Wait for email and send the missing document via email or I have to visit BLS again ? I am not near BLS office, and I tried to call them they said wait for email. But it is possible to do this via email send missing doc ?

Or is it possible that someone can drop that document in person on my behalf (spouse) ?

Please advise.

I have the exact same situation. Applied 27th June 2024 in BLS Missisauga Walkin (appointment) was expecting them to check everything first and then signs wherever needed but clearly recall forgot to sign. now Status : Incorrect/Incomplete Data. Forgot to sign. anyone knows what happens next.

So basically our friends at the consulate update the "processed" in the morning and then the rest gets upated sometime afternoon.

Now can anyone please let us know if there is anyway I can pick up from Brampton BLS. what needs to be done for that .
I know this has been discussed somewhere in the forum.
If someone can please point me in the right direction .
I am still not confindent enough to book a flight for Sunday . right now flights from JFK looks doable, everything else is just ridiculously expensive.

Used to be around 30 days, when I did mine. So expect somewhat similar.

Ok, and it will not cause any issue? As canadian passport will have blank given name and oci will have xxx?
Moreover, i am trying to mail my application so in that case if i leave blank given name, will bls automatically add it or return my application?

Yes, It is mentioned as processing at the consulate.

I submitted my, spouse and kid OCI on 25th May in Mississauga in person.

But still not received, hopefully tomorrow..

I thought OCI card looks like card, but I see its a mini version of Our Passport.

Thanks for this update - now I can understand the timeline from BLS Mississauga. I submitted 3 application (same as yours) in person on 28th June so I hope to get all OCIs in August based on your timeline.

i helped somebody to fill up his application and he submitted his application on 25 and bls accepted it. He had the same case like yours.
