Regarding card activation:

You do need to activate your card. However, the "activation" tab/button will not show up right after you finish and pass the interview. The tab/button only shows up after they mailed out the actual card.

Hello everyone, I submitted my Nexus application on January 20th, 2024, and a month later, I applied for an ATIP with CBSA to check the progress of the Risk Assessment. Today, I received my ATIP results from CBSA regarding my NEXUS file, and the status indicates "Pending Risk Canada." Upon reviewing the event history section of the ATIP, I noticed a message stating "US Risk result received - Pass" on January 21st, 2024. Does this mean that only Canada's risk assessment is left to be completed? It seems a bit unusual how quickly the US completed their risk assessment.
Hello everyone, Really happy to inform that I received my conditional approval today. I submitted my application on Jan 20 , 2024. Now time to schedule an appointment. Does anyone know how can I get some early dates? Are there any specific times when new slots becomes available just like US visa appointments? Am I allowed to re-schedule an appointment as well?

Hello everyone, need some help. Super happy to receive my Conditional approval today, today makes it exactly 4 months since I applied (Applied on Feb 13, 2024). Next step is to schedule an interview , my questions are:
1) I will like to schedule an appointment for an Online interview but I am not seeing the option for a virtual interview, does anyone know if it’s possible to schedule an online interview instead of in-person?
2) I am currently on vacation in the US but I am a Canadian citizen, can I go for an in-person interview here in the US or have to fly back to Canada ?
3) Any other clue that I should know ?

Your suggestions will be much appreciated

I believe you may have to do that first on the Canadian side first, either via a split interview or joint interview or at the Canadian airport when you fly out

Thank you, I’m thinking of going with the option of doing the Joint interview at a Land enrolment centre in the US since I’m already here on vacation. Question is if I’m allowed to do that while I’m on vacation or have to wait until I get back to Canada

Yeah you could do that but you’d need to book an interview

You can go to interview at any location (US or Canada) as long as you can find an interview slot. Once you schedule the interview, the instructions provide the address for the interview locations (US and Canada side).

Hi @abbas.pasha

Having a similar situation & booked interview on 17-Jun. Please advise if below docs are sufficient ?

Adults - Can PP, Ind PP(with US Visa), Appointment Letter, Canadian DL, Employment letter(??)
Kids - US PP, parent's PP/ birth certificate, Appointment Letter.

Let me know if I m missing something here.

Also as Canadian Citizen, should we explicitly call out for Global Entry and TSA Pre-check to be enabled on our cards?

Thanks
Successfully completed Nexus interview today and received approval on the spot… Went to Ogdensburg location n officers asked questions to verify the information from application - Themselves proceeded to remove Indian Pp, PR card n US visa details n updated with Canadian PP as primary… Thanks @abbas.pasha for your guidance n inputs. Should get cards in couple of weeks - Now only OCI pending processing to complete my immigration journey

Got it, thanks for your input
Don’t think you can enter US CBP location via land from US side… You would have to enter via Canada( cross from Canada to USA)… And join interviews are conducted at land borders only… So I guess book appointment any date after u r back in Canada!

@abbas.pasha - Since we dont receive the tracking number for the NEXUS card post, how soon can we expect it to arrive on mail from the time it was approved?
