    NEXUS application

Yeah, calendar residence. I applied as an PR with calendar residence more than three years (but PR years fewer than three), and if you count my days it was fewer than three years too.

Seek advice on withdraw and re-apply please help

For the record my withdrawl passes when I have exams/background checks done too. Yeah, just go through all the process -- it's easy to 20/20 the exam anyway. As others said, better late than never. You'll regret not withdrawing sooner if at last the physical presence is the pain point.

    NEXUS application

The bot is working fine; you are just slower than others in grabbing that slot.

    NEXUS application

Got a chance to update the Nexus card with the Canadian passport. Previously I didn't see TSAprecheck included, but then the officers linked my files and TSAprecheck is now included.

Extended Absences from Canada - Impact on Citizenship Application?

Don't overthink. It's a straightforward process. > but I’m unsure whether I should do this now or closer to my application date, which is planned for June next year. Assuming that you are not going to Vietnam for another half year, I would say just use a police certificate that fully covers...

Extended Absences from Canada - Impact on Citizenship Application?

Sorry to hear about this. It must be hard to go through the difficulties. I want to point out that the citizenship application is unrelated to all this background info. When you apply, you need to report your residence within the last 5 years and all the physical absences from Canada. I don't...

No idea (if you are quoting my reply). I did mine in Niagara Falls, NY.

For these three questions, please read the thread instead of tagging me. Normal time, just very normal. It's some time between 3-5 months for me.

    Citizenship Test from outside Canada?

All applicants receive the same generic email. Not all applicants follow the rules they should've followed though.

Attending Virtual Oath Ceremony but apply Passport from New York

Yes you can. I know exactly a "new york" data point, as that guy mailed his passport application in. As long as the oath ceremony is taken in Canada.

Question: If I asked for express processing, should I trust the date on my receipt to pick up the passport (the same date as what the officer told me)?

    Reschedule Date not received

For me, LPP turned green in two days but the timestamp for LPP was the same day as the interview. Oath was marked in progress the same day as LPP turned green and it says "you are invited to oath" on the tracker. I received the oath email one day after all that.

    Citizenship Test

It should be fine. I'm using an external monitor with a web cam as well, with more webpages open in the background too.

    Two different oath dates

It's probably the Sept 5th one. I had the same thing during my citizenship test and they said the previous one was canceled but it didn't apply to the system. Check with IRCC; from my experience, it's the latter date.

I answered "no" as well, but I have plans in four weeks and now I am not sure whether the time is enough for my passport lol. I should probably have answered yes...
