Oops. Sorry wasn't able to add screenshot with the post. Here's what CIC said in the letter.

IMM 5532 Relationship Information and Sponsorship Evaluation: Please provide a
completed and signed Relationship Information and Sponsorship Evaluation (IMM 5532) Form.
The Sponsor and Principal Applicant should complete the form and sign the declarations
where indicated. There are (4) mandatory signatures on IMM 5532 throughout the (8)
pages of this form. All signatures are mandatory and
required
.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5532E.pdf

As it does not meet the requirements for processing, your submission and documents are being
returned to you and will not be processed or put in the queue for processing
You need to provide DIGITAL signatures (not electronic ones) on pages 3, 4 and 8 of the form. Page 3 is the sponsor's signature, Page 4 is the applicant's, and page 8 is the Sponsor AND applicant.
That's what they mean by four signatures. Remember they have to be actual signatures (which you can create using computer software). I know it's a pain, but that's what they want.

Hi there,
I want to apply PR for my spouse. She is in India. Does she need Police clearance check for that?
Yes, if she's lived in India for more than 6 months (which I'm assuming she has, since she's from India). In fact, ANY country where you've spent more than 6 months requires police clearance from the relevant authority.

Hi there! I've applied for spousal visa and this is the response I received:

Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)
• Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) not included/missing. The principal applicant and all dependent children 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form. There are 5 children. One died at birth. One is under 18. Two are between 18 and 22. One is over 22 and married. How I understand it the only one who needs their own copy of this form is the two between 18 and 22 which was done. Thoughts please on what they think is wrong?
• Form not completed in its entirety. Please complete all fields that apply, such as date of birth and/or address information. Complete address should include unit number, street number, street name, city, and country, postal/zip code. It is completed in its entirety. There are some siblings that I put N/A because we don't have their address and I wrote a letter explaining that. Nothing was left blank. Any thoughts?
• Form missing handwritten signature. This form, IMM 5406, is a digital form. There is nowhere on the form that indicates where to sign it. This is not one of the forms that can be downloaded and then uploaded again. Any thoughts?
• Dependents not listed and/or listed incorrectly. The dependents are listed correctly. Maybe they didn't notice that 1 child died at birth? Maybe I should add that to the explanation letter?
• A parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of a principal applicant under the age of 18 when a signature for this person is required. My spouse is over 18. Do I just add it to the explanation letter that my spouse is over 18?
• If the principal applicant is 18 years of age or older, they must sign their own forms. There is nowhere on this form, IMM 5406 that requires a signature. Thoughts?

I appreciate your help and I will pay your help forward, thank you :)

A sponsor who became a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen after being sponsored as a spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner under subsection 13(1) of the Act may not sponsor a foreign national referred to in subsection (1) as a spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner unless the sponsor has been a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen, or a combination of the two, for a period of at least five years immediately preceding the day on which a sponsorship application referred to in paragraph (1)(c) is filed by the sponsor in respect of the foreign national.
what is subsection 13(1) of the act?
The internet provides free information. But if you don't know how to Google it, I Googled it for you:

Subsection 13 (1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (S.C. 2001, c. 27)
Sponsorship of foreign nationals
  • 13 (1) A Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or a group of Canadian citizens or permanent residents, a corporation incorporated under a law of Canada or of a province or an unincorporated organization or association under federal or provincial law — or any combination of them — may sponsor a foreign national, subject to the regulations.

According to Canada's own IRCC website (here: Sponsor your spouse, partner or children: check if you’re eligible)

You may not be eligible to sponsor your spouse, partner if you:
  • were sponsored by a spouse or partner and you became a permanent resident less than 5 years ago
  • are still financially responsible for a previous spouse or partner that you sponsored. This means you’re still bound by the 3 year undertaking to take care of this person.

thats what i am asking.

according to this subsection 13(1) of the act , sponsorship bar applies if person who sponsored you was already PR or citizen.
but in my case both husband and wife were not PR initially , first husband went to canada on work permit and then he applied for his PR and also mentioned the name of his spouse in his PR application. so eventually they boht got PR at same time.
does sponsorship bar apply in this case?
No. Sponsorship bar does NOT apply.
From the IRCC website again:

You may NOT be eligible to sponsor your spouse, partner if you:
  • were sponsored by a spouse or partner and you became a permanent resident less than 5 years ago

No. AOR means "Acknowledgement of Receipt", meaning the IRCC got your application.

Sponsor Eligibility is different from AOR and only your sponsor will get the Sponsor approval email. After getting the AOR, they will view the profile of your sponsor and they will decide if they can sponsor you or not.

Hi there, asking for a friend.

My friends are married in the Philippines but got divorce in Canada. I want to ask if the guy can sponsor his second wife in Canada even if they (1st wife)are not annulled in the Philippines? Also the second wife came to Canada as tourist to working visa and they remarried in Canada. Is that valid to sponsor her to become PR? Thanks in advance.
