got ghost update on both applications today (one of them already had fingerprint request as well a week before). MTL office, Dec 9 application

When we say Ghost update... is it just the date that changed? because that's what happened on my account - just a date change haha

like my account says:
Your citizenship application status Updated: March 29, 2024 (before this just says Feb 8, 2024)

lol i guess an officer just took a peek on the account and moved on. haha

Same for me. Only the date changed today March 29th, no other updates. Lol

I requested GCMS notes and it says Primary Office: Niagara Falls IRCC, Secondary Office: , Event Office: , and Knowledge: Passed, Language: Not started, Residence: Not Started, Prohibition: Not Started, Security: , Criminality: Passed

Any idea on why Security is not "Not Started"/"In-Progress"/"Passed" and left blank

I just checked again and I received another update for today March 30: background completed so only Language, Physical Presence and prohibition remaining.

Therefore the ghost update was NOT a glitch. More waiting though for the rest to clear.

I haven't received a finger printing request; does this happen for prohibition or background check or both? I know not everybody gets it but was just curious.
