I just received the GCMS notes. My file was moved from Miss's office to Scarb's office. MP has inquired about my application, but the notes say (no action taken). I am still stuck in security.
No clue what to do know other than just waiting.

Is it advisable now to separate my wife's application? She has had everything completed since April and is just stuck because of my application.

I went down this route, sent a request to separate my application, but it was declined, the reason- they don’t separate applications if one of you is in security screening

My physical presence status got completed yesterday. Only background and prohibitions remain in progress.

Finally some movement in my file today language and physical presence completed today background and prohibition left in progress

My application got approved back in May but I keep checking back here to see if you get it. I am dying for the day when you do; you have suffered enough and I can imagine how hard it is. Hope you will get some good news for the Christmas.

not related to citizenship but hoping someone might have some insight. can i use an expired passport to renew my pr card if its the same passport i used for my PR application(expired last year) and its not the passport i used for my point of entry(expired two passports before)? i got "primary Identification is not provided" when i submitted the passport i used during the PR application. called IRCC twice and the first agent said if its not the same as the passport with an entry stamp it wont work if its expired even if its the one i used when getting my PR. called again and the second agent said to provide an explanation letter stating that its the same as the one i used in my PR application. so redundant.. and not sure which one is the correct one

You should apply for GCMS notes and see if your spouse application is stuck in Security screening. If that is the case, MP office will not be able to help you. You need to wait for it to complete. In many cases it can take upto a year to complete.

Search using postal code. You will get the email and office details.

Kids application don't see any progress. They just complete in the end when parents application completes.

In my opinion you should separate your application from your spouse and get citizenship with your kids instead of waiting.

You can request IRCC to be separated with your kids from your wifes application . Else you need to wait for all things to complete for your wife to get oath.

Nothing for me. I noticed while going through the threads of the forum that this kind of security check usually takes between fourteen and seventeen months and sometimes longer than this.
