Dear IRCC,

I trust this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention the status of my citizenship application, which, despite my best efforts to embody the ideals of a responsible citizen, seems to be in a state of limbo.

Throughout the application process, I have endeavoured to showcase my commitment to civic responsibility. From diligently segregating waste into recyclable and non-recyclable categories to waiting patiently for the pedestrian light, even in the quietude of a deserted alley at five in the morning on a snowy day, I have consistently demonstrated my dedication to societal norms.

Moreover, my considerate actions extend to the car wash queue, where I allow the vehicle in front to complete its drying process before entering, ensuring that water droplets do not inadvertently mar its pristine finish. Even in the privacy of my dental hygiene routine, I brush my teeth promptly at 9 o'clock every night and abstain from consuming liquids after 8 o'clock to prevent any nocturnal inconveniences.

Despite these conscientious efforts, I find myself without the coveted status of citizenship. I am reaching out to kindly request an update on the progress of my application and seek clarification on any additional steps or information required from my end.

Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, and I look forward to receiving a favourable response at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Yours sincerely,
Manny2

I think I should call them like you did then. Must be a missing Fingerprint request, hence we're stucking at BG clearance. I think your progress will advance much better after this.

Yes, you should call them. I call them last tuesday and one week after I have received the email. Good Luck.

1. Yes, if they ask for fingerprints, you must provide. No way around it. Could be due to security reasons or one of those random requests to test the integrity of the system.
2. The official RCMP webpage gives instructions on how to submit prints from outside Canada. Linked HERE.

Applicant,

You have emailed an unmonitored inbox and this is your official proof of acknowledgement.

My citizenship oath was conducted sometime back, an emotional day for me.
Officially, I'm a Canadian now.
I hope to cross the path of my fellow citizens from the group someday.
Good luck and I hope we carry forward the legacy and virtues of the beautiful country we chose to live in.

Regards

Congratulations! I hope you are spending the day well and taking lots of pictures, and doing fun things with the people you love. Your immigration journey is at its end!

To whom it may concern,

Thank you for you processing my application for citizenship. With regards to my application, I hope the following points help and clarify.

(then start listing in bullet points with only the categories you need a clarification for; a LoE is not meant to be a laundry list; keep it simple and only take the additional time to explain any red flags or possible red flags)

Residence and Tax:
1.
2.

Work and school:
1.
2.

etc etc

2.

Sincerely,
Your name

Just had my citizenship ceremony. This concludes my journey to be a Canadian citizen after 7 years. Thank you everyone for being extremely helpful. To those who are waiting, hang in there it's coming. Cheers to all.

Hi,
I have completed my in-person citizenship ceremony today.
I thank all members of this forum for their support / contribution.
Even though I was not in any pre planned / urgent travel, I really liked to follow people’s timeline (I have read threads from around page 20) and clearly know what and when to expect as the next step / process.
I never had any stress throughout my entire process, as I started with zero knowledge progressed to expert level, all from this forum.
I extend my thanks to all.
❤

In case if anyone has questions later on, I submitted my signed oath form right after the ceremony and got the e-certificate within 4 hours. Good luck :)

Great, I did it too, but have not got it yet.
Did you print and scan and send?
