Then the question is why would they have any doubts? I mean, so far I know, there is nothing special in my application. And others here on the forum are also pretty confident about theirs.. so it’s weird that they are sent to RROC
I’m still optimistic that if something was wrong with our application or if they had doubt, we wouldn’t have everything completed on the tracker.
I believe they are just overworked, and taking lot of time to finalize applications (which is not ok). But I’m pretty sure we will get our email soon

I have several reasons that lead me to think I am not in security screening:
1. On the first page, security is blank. I think this status will never be hidden if it is "not started", "in progress", or, "complete".
2. On the activity page, I don't have additional security pages with blank. I think if you have any security screening, even if you can not see the detail, you will have blank pages where the text are being hidden.
3. In the tracker, when checking the "console" of the source code. The status of security is "33" which should denote complete (on the contrary, "17" is for "in progress")
4. The first email response directly from RROC says "your application is in que for approval". It is not in que for security or even in que for review. It is "for approval".
Thanks for your super detailed response. So even though you ordered from CBSA, your security information is also blank like mine. I've read that they sometimes don't reveal security on CBSA notes, so that's normal. I also have only 1 small blank section and not multiple pages so that should mean security is all good for me as well.

My security status is also 33 but I didn't know the data on console is reliable. If we consider it to be true and accurate, may I know what your most recent entry is? Mine is on 18th July with key '85'. Any idea what this code signifies? It matches the date I got my last tracker updated with "We have received the information sent and will let you know if we need anything further....."

I've taken this as a response to my email to RROC as I haven't called or sent webforms in over 2 weeks now.

I agree with you. Having all those stages marked complete on tracker along with everything else we've found from comparing GCMS notes all leads me to believe there is nothing wrong with our files and we are just in some sort of queue for final approval.

My file is also extremely straightforward (in my opinion) as some others have mentioned. We would have had ADRs by now if they needed something else from us.

The question now is if there's anything we can do at this stage rather than waiting out the next 2-3 months. I might try sending a screenshot of my GCMS notes summary in a webform and requesting them to finalise.

Do we have any information about calling/sending webforms delaying progress? I'm hesitant to do so because at my old university's registrar, sending an email put you in the back of the queue.

That’s also what I think!
if there was something wrong, we would have received ADR or even be rejected already.
rejection is much faster than finalisation.
I already sent 3 webforms, and 2 emails.. it didn’t help. I still try to call IRCC (no luck yet), if I get someone I’ll try to complain as I can..

Guess there is nothing more we can do than wait :(

I don’t think it does influence anything.
I didn’t send webforms until 2 weeks ago, while others have sent webforms much earlier and did receive their ppr already

I think it would have the opposite effect. With the massive volumes of applications they deal with, I'd think it serves as a reminder to not forget about us. Sending webforms or calling usually gets someone to open the file and leave a note that we have made contact. Not that any of us had success with this so far, but helps deal with the anxiety of waiting indefinitely to have at least tried something.

Yes, 85 is for that response.

I would say IRCC has a filtering system. If you choose that your case is processed in Canada, webform for general inquiry will be directed to a center that is similar to the call center. They will only reply you with a template saying your case is in progress. For example, the response me and Josh_dan received recently. There is a name and agent number at the end of that response.
If you choose your case is processed outside of Canada, given that the call center does not have information about case processed outside, your webform will be forwarded to the specific office you choose. Then, if your case is not really processed there, they will further forward it to your PO. For me, it is RROC. This is also how I received response directly from RROC. But it is also mostly useless and I highly doubt there is also an administrative assistant who does the reply inside RROC.

So, in brief, I think it won’t hurt your case because officers who have the authorization to touch the cases may not even be aware of all the webforms you submitted. But it may also mean, sending webforms is useless.

I finally managed to contact IRCC by phone! After a numerous unsuccessful attempts o_O
The agent confirmed that all stages are completed and passed. No problems could be found. And as expected, RROC is my primary VO :(
He just told me that processing time is on average 7 months; so that it could be normal to have to wait..

Nothing very new. But at least I know that I’m stuck at RROC. And that nothing should be wrong with my application.. just waiting for finalisation :(

Nobody should feel afraid for their application approval based on PVO RROC alone. Theres NO indication that it means anything is wrong.

All we know is that our timeline is being artificially lengthened for whatever reason.
It is not exactly fear of approval. More like anxiety as to the delay as many of us have had our parameters completed about 2 months ago and would love to have received PPR by now
