Are you a family class applicant? If not, you are not doing yourself or anyone here any favours by posting in the wrong section. Sometimes, people make errors and post in the wrong section. Forgivable. In your case, it appears that yesterday, you posted this same question 10 times, each in a different section of the forum! That would appear not to be a simple error, but a deliberate course of action that ranks with posting spam.Criminality passed on 24 May 2023 and my BG verification status COMPLETED on 19 June 2023.When can I expect my PPR???
I am sorry if it bothered you so much. The topic of this section seemed relevant to my case so I joined it.If you watched my question in 10 sections then you yourself is following all of them which does not disturb me at all.We join these forums to seek help.It seems you had some personal bad experience. Not everyone is same .Are you a family class applicant? Did not bother me, except to see a few members here who render the forum less user-friendly by posting material willy-nilly to multiple threads, adding to the length of those threads and causing those watching those threads to wade through irrelevant material. In this case, I tend to read many of the family class posts. So, I read yours. That included reading through your timeline. It was upon reading that, that I realized you were not likely a family class applicant. So yes, I wasted my time. How many others will do the same, all because you are selfishly "seeking help", taking a scattergun approach to soliciting said help?I am sorry if it bothered you so much. The topic of this section seemed relevant to my case so I joined it.If you watched my question in 10 sections then you yourself is following all of them which does not disturb me at all.We join these forums to seek help.It seems you had some personal bad experience. Not everyone is same .
You will need to wait for the background checks of Primary applicant + all dependents to be completed before you can receive your PPR letter. This is because IRCC will not issue a PPR letter until all of the applicants in the application have had their background checks completed.Check your status on IRCC tracker too.I submitted my PR application in September 2021 and my security screening began in December 2021. On the same day, the message in the Background check section in my GIC account changed to "We are processing your background check. We will ...." In the next 16 months, there were no updates in my account. I requested CBSA and CSIS notes. They showed that I was in security screening. In CSIS note of March, it showed my wife's security screening has been completed. On May 8, the message in the Background check section in my GIC account changed to "Not applicable". I am not sure whether it means it is NA3. I called IRCC in June and they told me my background check was still in progress.
Do you think what this "Not applicable" means? Is this NA3? I really hope my background check will be completed as soon as possible. It has taken me 18 months to do it!!! So frustrating!
I don't know if this helps at all, and my memory of what happened on what dates is less than perfect, but I see that on May 2, 2023 I posted:I never thought I'll post this question but wanted to know if any of you, in Family Sponsorship, who had their BGC switch to "Not applicable" in late April changed back to "in progress" or something significant like Eligibility happened meanwhile?
I need some fuel for my anxiety...
Thank you, I just wanted to know the overall dynamics and understand where am I in relation to the median. I'm not trying to interpret what each of the state means.I don't know if this helps at all, and my memory of what happened on what dates is less than perfect, but I see that on May 2, 2023 I posted:
For us, GCKey says eligibility "in progress", background "not applicable".
On the other hand, tracker says eligibility "not started"; background "in progress".
As of today(and for awhile now), GCKey shows both "in progress". Tracker says that eligibility started on May 24 and background was completed on June 27.
I really don't know if any of this means very much.
I hear you about being depressed about the Quebec situation. I had no idea about that until reading the recent posts here about that topic. I hope something will be done soon the rectify that deplorable situation.Thank you, I just wanted to know the overall dynamics and understand where am I in relation to the median. After recent announcement about Quebec processing times I'm quite depressed to say the least and trying to evaluate what to expect and what options to explore.
Timeline is totally irrelevant to family sponsorship.Criminality passed on 24 May 2023 and my BG verification status COMPLETED on 19 June 2023.When can I expect my PPR???
I have same situation as you.. Medical passed on March 16, Background check Not Applicable since April..I never thought I'll post this question but wanted to know if any of you, in Family Sponsorship, who had their BGC switch to "Not applicable" in late April changed back to "in progress" or something significant like Eligibility happened meanwhile?
