How did you know it updated to in progress if its already in progress? Your update should be just GU right?

Back on May 15, in this thread, I posed to you this question:

You posted this informative message about timelines back in October, 2022. Are you able to say where you came up with this information? It certainly appears to be much more useful than the standard 16 months shown on the IRCC website for all applications, from all over the world. Do you know if these numbers remain anywhere near accurate (assuming they were ballpark accurate back in October)?

Please advise, if you know.

You did not respond. I guess you did not see my query. So, I'll ask again. Where did you get that information? Do you know if it now prevails or has it changed?

It came from immigration lawyers forum, not official but pretty acturated estimated timeline for spousal applications which doesn't need anything (no extra additional requests, no interview...etc ) no changed as much as know of, even changed it would be quicker positively bec ircc keep saying they re working on faster processing on applications

-Application submitted in June 08 2022
-SA & Medical request in 11 October 2022
-Medicals passed in 19 October 2022
-Biometrics Already Completed
-AOR & Review of Eligibility on GC key in 17 November 2022
-Background Check in Progress (Tracker) in 19 April 2023
-Eligibility in Progress (Tracker) in 11 May 2023

Notes: - No updates on GC key
- Before start of BGC we were informed that our application was moving on smoothly and it was transferred from local VO to a Canadian VO


Any one can help me know what is next or perhaps give me a time estimation?

Oct 18th Request for more information for Police Clearances.
Oct 27th Request for Biometrics.
Oct 28th Sponsor eligibility approved and application forwarded to Manila Visa Office.
Nov 14th Medical completed.
Dec 8th 2022 HK Police Clearance received.
Mar 11th 2023 Eligibility in Progress.
Apr 24th Eligibility Completed.
Apr 27th Background Verification Completed.
May 25th PPR.

@Kaibigan seems a one year processing time, is possible for MVO, hope for the best for everyone.

Omg! I’m July 27. Hopefully next month we got ours too! My file was transferred to MVO too.
