November 2021 - Citizenship applications

Hello, everyone,
I am writing in the hope someone can answer my question. I am currently single and am planning to get married in two months. Given I am currently eligible to apply for citizenship, Shall I apply now as a single and update IRCC about my marital status when I get married ( after two months) or shall I wait until I get married and submit my application with the status of married? I am afraid that my application may take longer if I apply as a single and then later update IRCC about my marital status. Many thanks in advance for your answer

I got an email yesterday asking for copies of my passport - even though they have it already - sent them back same day. Back to waiting.

same things happened to me, they had my pass copies and translations in file and they asked for it again on 1st DEC, sent it to them on the same day, reaching to end of DEC and no further update.
did you get any auto response when you responded to the email and attaching your files, I did not get any auto response even.

I received the passport copies request email from Surrey office, BC on Oct 20 and sent them right away.
Been almost 2 months since then..Still no progress!! so worried about the process..

Prohibitions, Physical Presence and Language Skills in process. Oath Ceremony still not started..
Please inform me if you are in the same situation. Is this normal??

same boat, I sent mine although they had it in file month ago and no news after, no one actively looking to it, that is why. I have noticed this happens mostly to applicant from Vancouver.

nothing since august 20, after test. IRCC sucks.

I am here in the same situation. No updates what so ever. Only AOR ... not even test invite. IRCC testing our patience..

not as long of a wait yet but I got the request for passport on Dec 15, sent them back same day, no notifications since. Test was completed back in early September.

Is anyone facing issues with logging in to the citizenship tracker? After entering the credentials, the page keeps on loading forever. Kindly let me know if anyone had this issue before and how you resolved it?

Received Ghost update Dec-16 on mine and wife’s Tracker but nothing changed..
Received another Ghost Update today Nov 27, No change on Wife’s app, but mine BG changed back to In-progress…
After 9-months of waiting BG changed to completed and now back to in-progress..


My timeline is (Paper Application)- Family(wife +3kids)

I have no update since my AOR, waiting CSIS background verification. from what I am reading online,CSIS are working on background verification for 2021June/July applicants so I might not see un update until April next year .
Someone recommended ordering CBSA ATIP notes. so I did , I might get more information , I’ll post them here once I receive them.

The same thing is happening to me , I have my oath scheduled too. Hopefully it gets resolved after the ceremony
