Hi All,
I submitted my application on nov 20 2020 after receiving the ITA. After that I have received a few updates from IRCC. Last update was received on may 2022 for updated documents i.e. medical records and PCC. I was able to submit the medical documents on time, however I was unable to receive PCC from USA and India that time. I explained the same to IRCC through letter of explanation while submitting document. I submitted the PCC in august and got an acknowledgement mail from them that they have received my documents. Till then I have not yet received any response from them. It been two years since i submitted my application after getting an ITA. How can I contact them? Please help . Thank you

I would think long and hard about declining an ITA. With the TEER stuff and other changes looming, it's a big risk. Do you think you won't get your PCC in 60 days?
Yes, we definitely cannot get PCC. The deadline is approaching and we learned that they never received our request, so we had to send another.

Glitches and all those issues don't make us eager to decline ITA.

Then it sounds like you don't have a choice. Decline it so that you have a chance to get an ITA (although it might be too late to be included in the draw even if you're above the cutoff). It;s a tough position to be in.

Your other option is to try and collect documentation that proves you did your best to get the PCC in time, and then later send the PCC via webform. Personally I'd be quite uncomfortable doing this, because it's IRCC you're dealing with. Any opportunity to reject, they will take it.

I hate to say it but in your position I'd probably decline and hope to get another ITA in the next draw. Good luck, hope there are no issues.

Yes, it sucks. Do we know when C-19 is starting? We have 504 points and should get ITA in the next round. I am more worried about TEER glitches and whether they continue to hold regular draws in 2023.

I have no idea, I haven't been tracking it. Glitches are almost guaranteed. IRCC screws up established decades old systems. Implementing a new one is way out of their level of competence. It'll take a while for them to iron out the kinks imo. My personal philosophy was if I don't get an ITA in 2022, then I will move on from Canadian immigration altogether. I don't trust that they;ll be able to implement the new changes without breaking something in the process.

If tomorrow is supposed to be another draw, decline the ITA quick. I imagine they will take a couple of weeks off in december and when draws resume, even if the new system isn't implemented, who knows if 504 will be enough.. Try your best to get a new ITA this year. Next year is GG.

I was unable to provide PCC myself and sent them a letter (LOE) explaining it.
They gave me 2 additional months to provide the document.
It's risky to decline : we're not certain of the next draws.

please, can someone tell me if IRCC has probably put aside my case until the submission of the PCC?
Is there a chance that they are still working on the case meanwhile ?

It is impossible to know without getting GCMS notes, but any documents that haven't been submitted, means they probably put it aside and wait for the submission. That's why people were recommending upfront medicals etc, because it's one less interruption in the processing. Security and BGC is usually the first or second step after MEP and biometrics, so my guess is that they would be waiting till the submission unfortunately. I hope I am wrong..

It's also the reason I Was told by someone here to submit my schedule A upfront. Because my application would possibly halted while they wait for it, even if I submitted it the same day.

@myshymush, isn't Schedule A part of the questionnaire that we have to fill out before we get to upload the documents?

They will request some additional documents after you have uploaded all the required documents on your account.

Question on the passport submission.
I have a valid Canada tourist visa till Dec 2023 on my previous passport. Do I need to submit both my current and previous passports? Will my existing TRV be canceled when the PR visa is stamped ?

You have the ITA and you have an app in progress. An additional few weeks of processing sucks, sure. But you're almost at the finish line now.

Also note that everything I said above is purely my opinion. There is no evidence to support what I said. I am just ssaying that based on anecdotal observations of IRCC behavior over the last 3 years.

Hey you didn't actually tag me, so i missed your message. I'm not sure I understand your question, but basically if you answered 'Yes' to any of the statutory questions, they will later ask you to send a schedule A. Someone told me to upload it upfront, so I just did that. I haven't gotten an ADR, and I can only hope this means my application won't be interrupted.
