One of my friends from Windsor gave his citizenship test sometime in January/February this year and he is still waiting to see updates/progress on his application, in his case, Language Skills, Prohibitions and Physical Presence are still In Progress and Ceremony has not started as yetHI All,
For Windsor applicants, anyone know the average time to Oath ceremony from test passed status?
I know it is different for everyone but for Windsor office, there must be an average timeframe.
Thanks for the response. I wonder what makes them stop/delay at this stage. I have noticed a pattern for windsor applicants( those who don’t need to give fingerprints or interview) . what I noticed is that they schedule you for a test on the day they clear your background and mark it completed. I believe the same agent would schedule to look at your application exactly 6 months from the day they schedule your test.HI All,

To simply answer your question, I believe it would be about 7 months from the date test marked as completed to your oath dateHI All,

My background is marked as competed and test was scheduled on Nov 25. And on May 25 everything else is marked as completed except oath, couple of days later my oath is secheduled to a date after a month.
I found over 10 people from windsor on these forums those who applied since mar 2021. All of them had that 6 months in common from the date of test scheduled to the rest being completed.
Thanks for the reply. This is exactly what I was suspecting and hence put forth my original question. Needed validation if someone else also noticed the same. Your response gave me some tighter timelines though, so thanks for that. Looks like a long wait ahead. My spouse's passport is expiring soon but I guess, I'll let it expire if the timeline still falls under 8 months.I have noticed a pattern for windsor applicants( those who don’t need to give fingerprints or interview) . what I noticed is that they schedule you for a test on the day they clear your background and mark it completed. I don't think that is going to be the case. 2 neighbors to whom I talked shared the same timeline that @svs03 mentioned. They did got their citizenship already, so it falls in line with Windsor office processing time average. Thanks for Sharing your analysis
In my case my BG was updated to completed on May 3rd 2022, and I saw an update for my Citizenship test on May 20th ,2022 and my test window was May 27-June 16,I gave my test on June 1st
I hope they process Windsor applications on par with other cities instead of having to wait 6 months after we complete our citizenship test
unfortunately, no. you can see the people by location in the main tracker. But even in the main tracker there is hardly 1 or 2 applicants each month from windsor. i dont know if there are really less applicants from windsor or if just most people dont bother to add their details on tracker.Hi all, is there a time-tracker or google docsheet for this group? Would be interesting to see processing times at different stages of the citizenship application for Windsor applicants
Can we send just one email with two attachments for both husband and wife? It's in the instructions in the PDF. Also, no need to send anything for child under 14, correct?Actually i have sent the OATH form on the same day, and replied back to the email address. which i got after the OATH?
I remember officer saying to reply back to the email address which i will receive after the oath. Do we need to send an email separately?
My Status didn't change to complete.
Yes, you would have seen in the oath invite too like below:Can we send just one email with two attachments for both husband and wife? It's in the instructions in the PDF. Also, no need to send anything for child under 14, correct?
Thank you @harirajmohan . Do you remember if there is a text on the certificate envelope preventing it from forwarding to another address?Yes, you would have seen in the oath invite too like below:
"Family members should save the forms in separate PDFs, however, they can all be sent in one email."
There is no label to prevent forwarding. But it say the from address from like Edmonton IRCC or Niagarafalls IRCC with address.Thank you @harirajmohan . Do you remember if there is a text on the certificate envelope preventing it from forwarding to another address?
