Did the online status change for you after next day?

Yes but my wife sent email to the one in the invite(didnt reply the email it came later that day).
Niagara office oath attended on Tuesday and Wednesday i saw that the file got closed(Citizenship oath activity status updated) on 10th. Tracker updated date 11th.

Did you send the oath form on same day? Its not closed for you? it will get closed in few days as not all files are closed in 2 days as usual.
As i could see that it took a week for few and few received certificate even after 2 weeks to 3 weeks too. So it seems again its not predictable.

Did you send the oath form on same day? Its not closed for you? it will get closed in few days as not all files are closed in 2 days as usual.

Actually i have sent the OATH form on the same day, and replied back to the email address. which i got after the OATH?
I remember officer saying to reply back to the email address which i will receive after the oath. Do we need to send an email separately?

No dont send another time to different email id. Just follow their instructions. We dont want to confuse them. Also in that email you received later it would say as "Please only send one email".
Actually we didnt pay attention at the end hence we didnt notice and sent it to the original email mentioned in the pdf invite. I came to know after i saw the discussion in this forum and its too late hence i too didnt want to reply to that email.

Your file should get closed this week. its just matter of 1-2 days difference. People whose app got closed on same day on 4th are still waiting to receive certificate. One person got it in 4 days from niagara. So we cant say when they will send it even thought they close it early. So dont send again to avoid confusion.

Update this thread whenever you receive the certificate. I will do the same whenever my wife receives it. Thinking that it will come in 7-10 days after close date. Will see.

Of course all should be allowing. Last week i went at 7am to checkout the line, how big it is. Yes it is. Seems less rush for last week but not sure this week.

Windsor file: My wife's certificate came possibly yesterday or day before. It went to address on file even though i gave new address in the email i sent with oath form.

No, i moved to Detroit but didnt change the address or informed cic to avoid any delays in processing.
I will be inside Canada from 2-10 May for my oath on 2nd and my wife has oath schedule on 10th.

We took test in Canada. I stay near the border hence its easy for me to cross the border quickly.
Taking test outside is not an issue since we can see many people are taking outside and its being allowed.

Oath outside: I dont know much on how its approved and being conducted. You can refer below threads and ask there.

interview is not mandatory for all. it all depends on officer if he/she wants interview to clear some clarifications on file.
interview can be after/before test. Mostly its after the test but it depends on the officer if s/he wants.

I see. Is this interview conducted online or in person? I am inquiring for my mom. She probably doesn't need to take the test because she is over 55. I am thinking if she needs to do the interview.

Online only. And she can attend from outside Canada as well.
