We’re in the same boat!

June 2021 applicant
Paper application
Montreal office (the slowest of what i’ve seen so far, that’s what we call deep sleep LOL)
AOR: October 01, 2021
Background check: November 10, 2021
Test completed: December 31, 2021
Prohibition, language, residence : In progress
Oath : Not started

I ordered the GCMS note on April 28, 2022 and received them June 02, 2022. I didnt find anything important. Same information on tracker.
I called my MP 2 months ago and they told me that you are on the waiting list for oath.

Nothing since then! It’s almost 5 months from test completed.
I think that the best option is to wait and wait!
Good luck to everyone.

Scarborough office
My time line : paper app sent June 2021
Test passed Dec 25 2021
BG check cleared April 2022
Nothing after that. Should I email them or wait for a little while longer? What other steps can I take to get this processed faster?

If I knew it would take them so long, I would have applied in August last year and not June. Apparently logic and sequence of processing is absent at IRCC. I think it’s very unfair for people who applied before other people to have to wait longer. Can’t wait for this process to be finally over so I don’t have to put my life on hold.

But if someone can help me understand. What possibly could they be looking at any further the background check covers all aspects of things. I have included proof of language, I’ve been living here for 8 years and only travelled thrice so my residency days are wayyyy in surplus. Why is it taking them so long to approve my file this is an open and shut case. I’ve been working at the same job for 8 years my NOA’s are on file with cra every year. I don’t get what’s taking so long. I just don’t understand what’s left to be checked before a decision is made
