Would this be a relationship red flag?

Hello Experts in the house please I need your advise on this. I and my spouse dated for like 10 months online and finally met ourselves. When we I met my spouse in person she introduced me to her parents and I took her home and introduced her to my gaurdians( Family relatives) as my parents are late. After getting the nod from both familiies I then proposed to her and we started our marriage plans. So in total we got married after knowing ourselves for 15 months.

It depends on many factors. Age, culture, economics. All you can do is provide as much evidence as possible about your relationship.

I am 6 months older than her , we are both christains and also professionals in our field of study. We both have degrees and professional certifications. We both wrote seperate letters about our relationships on how it all begun and provided call logs and chats. Just wondering if this would suffice because what i read here sometimes frightens the living day light out of me.

You should be just fine. Reading here can be scary at times but there are many successful stories with less than yours. Good luck.

It should be OK. Marrying the first week you meet someone is a huge red flag, but it sounds like you got married 5 months after meeting in person.

You will be fine. I know a couple who got married 3 months after they met and got approved and they didn't meet each other's family until about a year after marriage. I'm pretty sure you are in the clear! Good luck!

I am surprised we are 6 posts in +, and there has been not one mention of processing VO. It REALLY depends on the processing VO. Out of Manila, yes you will be fine, out of a difficult VO (say Morocco) . . . not so much.

The approval rates at different visa offices vary dramatically. Out of Accra, for example, about 50% of spousal applications got refused (not sure if that is still the case). Manila is an easier visa office than any in Africa, for example.

What could be the reason for this high rate in AVO?

Simply just more marriage fraud cases in those African countries near Accra VO.

Just like Singapore VO, that too also has a high refusal rate, because there are so many marriage fraud cases in south east asia.
