Worst Immigration service in the entire world.

CIC is just blatantly lying to us when they say that they are still doing background checks and hence the delay. If they can process EE applications in 3 months, are they not doing background checks on these people then? CIC is just contradicting themselves and clearly not working on old CEC applications at all. This is driving us all into depression and making us suicidal.

They've updated the processing time for Express Entry to 15 months. Maybe they're finally going to put them on hold while they clean up the backlog!

15 months for the Express Entry ........ it used to be Express, so at this point it make more sense to cancel the EE and go back to the old system.
 
Lol,,, I would say don't get so excited, it is just another error.

Just give it some time, they will be apologizing soon...

Or they won't realize it until tomorrow morning when we start calling them,,,

I am in EE, CEC stream, and waiting for an answer all over 9 months. So it's not only the old system what doesn't work, even the new system is not okay, They prommised 6 months after a complete application isn't it?
But I overall it's absolutely bad that applications from before entering the ee system are still open.
May be we can aply for a job there? that should help them, and may be we can do our own applications faster........

is it 9 months since u created the profile or 9 months since u submitted a complete application after receiving ITA ?

i think they like people with LMIA/LMO and process their files in less than 6 months.
 
Yes it's 9 months ago when I submitted my complete application.
Now it shows " under investigation, no dicision made" already for months.
Again CIC can't hold their laws and rules.
They prommised 6 months. but for me it's already 9.

Still waiting and hoping the best.

They never promised 6 months... they just said that 4 out of 5 applications would take 6 months.... and that means that 1 out of 5 WILL FOR SURE take more than 6 months.

You got bad luck. Hope it gets better.
 
Yes, you are right.
Whatever I am not angry, scared or whatever, but after a couple years in a unsure time is not nice, and a answer should be fine.
Otherwise i know that nobody pushed me to Canada, it was my own choice, and unless what is coming, I like it to live here and we are happy to have this experience till now.
Hopefully we all get a answer soon. specialy those people who are waiting a long time in the " old system"

This bad experience will impressed you : be care of Government, they can be super low-efficiency,

it is bad for the whole education system. One day, government will be abandoned.

ha ha ha true... it is better for staff and applicants to refer this forum rather getting email or info on their website.

LOL its totally collapsed and collapsing our time too ;D
