13 moths was processing times when I applied so PR should be getting October 2015, let say November.

I suppose is an Budget and organizational issue, basically CIC is using he same resources but are focused in EE.

Nothing to say you all well know, it's a nightmare for people awaiting but I'm afraid we can't do nothing about it. (Except apply to EE, if posssible)

What's more irrational is that EE is super flawed and doesn't work for some highly qualified old 2014 CEC applicants.
A senior colleague of mine doesn't have Canadian credentials and his CRS score is only 390 without ECA. I have no idea how long it will take him to get ECAs. He did Ph.D in the US at one of the top schools ( one of Stanford, Cal-Tech, MIT and UC Berkeley), for privacy I don't tell which one but take a guess. Now he got stuck with old 2014 CEC too. DAFUQ!!
When Canada allows this flawed system flying around and bashing highly qualified PR applicants, I can see now where this country is going.

I dont understand why we should apply re in EE . We have paid fee for IELTS , Police clearence certificates, and Intial Fee$ 500. We have other things to do such as our personal life , work life to survive . We cant just re do all these documents.

I agree with this part of your post.

You, anyone, only can do two things: wait or go to EE.
Nothing else works (ask for Notes, call, involve PM...)

If you want your PR in 4-6 months and are available to get enough score, don't mind to fill out a lot of paperwork, get certificates and much more there is only a option.

I'm not saying everybody hasn't reasons to be angry, I just say it's nothing we can do about it so better be practical, patience or EE.

Yes, it's complicated to get EE without LMIA.

Well, don't know what to say about immigration service which we all have to suffer at this point. Seem like our life is in control of politics. Worst call agent service as well.
If they can't give you the right answer what are they doing there then.

MP can't do anything ,lawyer can't help us . Who should we go to next ????
What the hell is going on with the system. Even though the citizen of this country are not happy with immigration system. This government is putting everything on side and serving refugees first.
Can they not hire more staff and get everything done in time?

processing times have not yet been updated this week, still showing 17months. fingers crossed x

17,21,35, 100 mos processing times who knows me too have been passed timeframe and yet nothing, so i don't really rely on processing times as they can change it anytime they want. all i know is that it's gonna be a long frustrating journey on our side. only God can tell the exact date of getting it done. :'(

EE submitted October 2015, COPR last Monday, less than 4 months.

I was too tired waiting for old CEC.

I really hate paperwork so I tried to don't fill more applications but finally I decide to do it.

I applied for BOWP on December but I asked for Withdrawal yesterday.

We all need to understand the following points

CIC is handled by politicians that are using it to get consent from their voters. The Conservatives introduced the Express Entry with the main purpose to reduce the eligibility due to the points requirements. In fact it's quite difficult for professionals that lives abroad to find a company available to sponsor them facing significant costs and uncertainess of the final result. Typically a company that is looking for a professional need him immediately and doesn't want to wait few months with the risk to see the application rejected. If you take a look the number of people that came to Canada through the Express Entry it's ridiculous compared to the number of immigrants that Canada use to receive on yearly bases (approx 250,000/year). The primary intent of the Express Entry introduced by the Conservatives was to create a "politically correct" filter to the immigration. They saved their face claiming that they introduced a faster immigration stream but they were well aware that EE would have resulted in a strict filter.

On the other hand Liberals focused their attention on the siren refugees. I believe that they deserve all attention and respect for what they faced and they need to be prioritized, but on the other hand as CIC is able to process 25,000 refugees in 2-3 months, they should be able to finalize our process right after in the same period of time.

I'm concerned that we're considered as political casualties because our situation is not interesting for any canadian voter (conservative or liberal).

In a nutshell.....we don't move votes.
